Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 58
I have 3 trades left. Next week Brandon Smith will become CS9 leaving 2 trades. As a SJ owner do I sell or just play Lamb to conserve trades. DCE & Field are my other halves.

I think whichever way you look at it, getting CS9 should be the number 1 priority. If you can.

With SJ going up that much, for my plans to work i need TTurbo not to rise more than 39K. Should be sweet unless he does a Cleary!!

Just saw that too thanks man.
Probably going to go Pearce next week since a lot of people will probably go Cleary...looks like I'm keeping both Walker and RTS now however since it's too risky to use all trades with so long to go

Fifita or Taumalolo for the run in? Would be cutting it fine cash wise if I go Tolo. Fifita gives a little bit of wiggle room with break evens.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 58
I had earmarked the Gutherson> Tedesco trade for this round all season long and when they pulled up at exactly the same price it seemed like fate. But now I can't afford such a luxury trade, and I will have to run with Guthers for the season (which isn't the end of the world, but picking up Teddy for the run home would have been so nice).
ugh.... 3 trades left and I have SJ and Merrin in my 17. My not-so-ingenious master plan was to stay injury free for 8 rounds, and i lost two in the first game

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 58
I think its Friend -Smith and SJ - DCE for me next week.
That will leave me with just 2 trades
Final team is far from ideal, but hopefully its goof enough to keep me in the top 200.
McInnes Smith
Vaughan JBrom
Gallen JDB Merrin Surgess Crichton Brown
DCE Cleary
Leilua DWalker
Munster TTrbo CWalker/RTS
Then toss up using my last 2 trades top upgrade JBrom (will need to cash out someone to do it) or play him and save trades for further injuries

You can trade SJ to basically whatever half you want.
I think the points difference for Pearce (or whoever you choose) over Lamb is probably big enough to justify the risk of burning a trade on.

It's all about maximising points this time of year mate, losing a top shelf halfback requires immediate action.
Covering SJ with Lamb just doesn't cut it in my opinion , you'll be at least 20-30 points a week behind everyone else just in that one position.
I'm in the same boat and I only have 2 trades left, I'll probably do SJ to Pearce with Friend out I think he'll take on a bigger responsibility.

Your right about Lamb, Mango. After last week he is probably down in confidence as well. You have to take your chances at this stage in the comp.

All things considered SJ to Cleary or Pearce or even a WFB like Teddy?
