If this year I still can't win it after getting as high as 6th in overall then I am quitting fantasy. Not dealing with this bullshit any longer

Man fuck this shit. I don't know how many of you frequent Reddit but I've been trying to win the league there for 3 years.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 59
Ive held strong on the one trade for two week's now lol
Sj Surgess the only hits. Surgess could force the issue thus week or next. I'll see how it lands in the coming days.
Didnt plan in bringing smith back in, dodged.
Anyone have a funny feeling about tbus next game ?
Upset ?

And this is exactly right. It was horrible. But reckless only, not intentional. Interesting that it's on report. Will be keen to see what the MRC makes of it.

What surprised me was that Soliola never got knocked out as revenge. If I was Bellamy I would of told NAS to go back on the field & knock him out.

Can you find evidence of him ever being suspended?
Slater slips, if he doesn't slip it hits him perfectly. It's rough because of the condition Slater was left in but let's not go OTT. It just went bad.
Thank fuck. For a minute there I thought I was fighting this battle on my own...

Late yes, ridiculously is an exaggeration. No different to what we see on kickers 90 times a weekend nowadays. Watch the replay (I have rewound and watched at least 10 times now) at full speed and he's already committed to the tackle. I'm not arguing it's bad, and worse than the punishment that was given but not sure its an instant send off.
Disagree that he's committed to the tackle. As I said, he doesn't start lifting his arm to tackle before Felise has caught the ball. You can see that on the pause. He could've easily pulled out.
In saying that, you're right in saying it is not an instant send off but it shouldn't have been a surprise if he was gone for the game and it was a surprise that he played the rest of the game.

Well thankfully that's a problem I don't have to solve. I have both Surgess and Smith and used my last trade on Smith last week! I can just get shit done this week.

That was one crazy game. Checcin the ref didn't help either. Cam has pectoral damage so cannot see him back
soon. Why would Bellamy take a chance on him when they are still winning anyway. May have to go the Broncos
hooker and see how bad S.Burgess is. Dire times ahead, I felt so safe bringing in Smith and giving him the C.

Shit yeah Filth, I'm not disagreeing. If he had've gone for the game I would've said "hmm, that's harsh but oh well". Being put only on report tho was definitely an err on the extremely cautionary side.
I've not watched the replay replay, refuse to watch anything slowed down. I've literally rewound the IQ box 10 times and watched it at speed. He's committed mate but I'll agree to disagree.

Haha, exactly this. It was by far the easiest most stress free trade in and c choice I have had all season. Weeks rest, solid team after origin, storm firing ....... fuck me

I'm on the other team but can see why it is a line ball decision. I can't understand how he doesn't get 10 in the bin though and let the judiciary hand out the final punishment later. The fact that the Storm lose their gun fullback whilst the Raiders get no disadvantage is just ludicrous. How can a late, reckless hit be worth the same as offside and less than Munsters professional foul. Every team should just get a Mark Geyer clone in their side if that's the way it is going forward.

You can see that on super slow mo. A person's brain can't think that fast, a rugby league players brain has no hope.

If you're sent off or sin binned don't you get a reduction in your suspension? As you've already been punished in game as well. I recall that being a thing.
