I gave up on giving the top rankings a real crack last week, so its all just funny to me now. Smith said in the presser that coming off was just a precaution. Which is annoying in its uncertainty moving forward.. especially if they start naming griffin

Fuck me thats 3 weeks in a row my captain has gone off injured and I know I wont be the only one but brought in Johnson and Smith two weeks in a row and captained them and both are likely gone for the season.

This is why I always scratch my head when people on here have fuck all trades left for the run home and will upgrade someone to get an extra 5 points a week which isnt going to help you when you have Ben Hampton playing in the halves because you burned all your trades.

Luckily for me I will survive the Johnson & Smith injuries because I still have 5 trades left but many wont.

I'm not sure of the judiciary intricacies anymore but I think there should be some in game punishment for an offense that impacts a game. Soliola will get suspended so other teams will benefit whilst the Storm lose Slater for the rest of the game and potentially next week too if his concussion is bad.

I agree Slater slipped so a send off could be perceived as harsh, but if that's not at least worth 10 in the bin then I don't know what is. Seems the bin is only used for holding down these days, with the occasional slapper thrown in for good measure.

They'll have to make a decision early in the week on Smith as it's meant to be his 350th game

I'd be happy but my biggest competitor in the league also has Mannering so I gain no ground.
