Is it more of a risk to play Smith, Scott etc and cop an AE if they don't play or more of a risk if you sub in a 35 point scorer and then Smith plays and hits 80. Decisions for everyone

This is the time in the season where AE planning becomes interesting especially with question marks over Smith, Scott, Surgess etc.

I'd say risk Smith on that one. Unlikely those AE's will score single digits and CKing could score 30 and then Smith bangs out an 80 you'd be gutted.

I know there was doubt over Scott playing last week but he is named to start this week. The only concern is his most recent score which was extremely poor compared to his previous run of 50+ scores.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 60
I'll wait as long as I can on Smith and if he's out last minute I'll have to choose between Lane and C Scott for 4th reserve.
The other players outside my 17 are RTS, Frown, and Fui.
There is obviously still doubt over Surgess too. If both him and Smith are out I'm at least hoping we get official news on one of them before Fridays matches.

Little Ryan, the snowflake....typical lefty. No argument so looks for spelling or grammar, when autocorrect exists. Lol. Like I said gumby, I'll back my Bachelor of Commerce over your 6th grade education anyday.

With my one last trade, which would you pick:
Surgess > Mannering
CWalker > Pearce
RTS > Teddy
Surgess > Mannering
CWalker > Pearce
RTS > Teddy

I would personally risk playing Cameron Smith. He was named to start after all. Isn't it his 350th game? Surely he will want to play that in Melbourne this week and not in NQ next week.

Commerce. Lol. Half a step up from an arts course. Tell you what, when we need an accountant, we'll call you. Actually, don't hold your breath, there about a dozen of them on here.
I'll take a STEM degree and 97% of peer reviewed scientific papers over a cottontail with a commerce degree everyday of the week.
There should have been a space between "...." and "typical". Imbecile.

Wow. That's a tough one. Do you have Cameron Smith? If not I would trade Surgess to Mannering for a reliable Captain option (unless you have Tolo). Walker has been shifted back to the halves so that will hopefully mean an increase in his scores. RTS to teddy is tempting though..

If your backup is King, its probably worth the risk. Smith plays, he'll likely rack points up. Smith doesnt play, theres only gonna be 15-20 points between what you could have had with King and what you get with any of those AEs.

If it's your last trade, I don't think I'd do any. Maybe if we get word on Surgess not playing before the Warriors game tomorrow, you would do that one.

If you only have one trade left, keep RTS. Only 1 game sample size but he played pretty well last week - he looked to cope with no SJ just fine.
Is there a 4th option of holding? 5 weeks with no trades left is a looooong time.

Agree with Ryno. Hold the door! I Mean, hold the trade!
Surgess, CWalker and RTS all capable of averaging 45-50 from here on in and playing every game which is a lot better than an AE or a 0.

Haha I deadset thought you were giving that moronic simpleton Rabbit a compliment for a moment there!
But then I realised they are not mutually exclusive and you can be much more wise than thehattrickrabbit but still be a complete and utter dumb khunt (like Rabbit).....

Roll the dice mate and play Smith, no brainer. There's a solid chance those 3 players can score more than King anyway.

His last two weeks have been disappointing. I have the trades and doing a somewhat sideways trade to Vaughn.
Actually, would Kaufusi to Vaughn be considered sideways? The 19K spent I think is well worth it.

Looking at consistency of performance in fantasy, I wouldn't call Kaufusi to Vaughan sideways.
Vaughan had a nice price drop after his score of 2 in round 16.
And if you have the trades...go for it!
