Looks most teams will have players joining in late after World Cup so Wildcard after fist few rounds will probably the way to go after team sheet settles down unless its Man-city.

    few points regarding your team
TAA has got few other players vying for the same position and he played in the world cup. If you want Liverpool Robertson is a better value though $1M more expensive.
Coleman is a decent option but Luiz ( if  he starts) gives you Chelsea cover at the same price.
Burney have signed Gibson, will effect Mee? Something to monitor
Keita is not expected to be fantasy relevant though he will improve the overall team performance ( someone like Kante I think)
Kane is expected to start GW1? He  has never scored in August Smile
If this was my team, I would Kane>Aguero, Jagielka>Wan Bissaka, then Keita>Mane

    Good luck

I am a bit of a Fantasy EPL addict, so hopefully I can give back to some of the more NRL Fantasy focussed of you.

Great advice here from Sajjos, Verbal.

Ederson is a strong pick. They say his partner is pregnant and may miss a game or two coming up, however, I would still drop Fabianski to a 4.0 non-playing keeper when playing any keeper week in week out. City defence is crucial, I have Mendy as I think he is in for a big season.

Think you have spread your cash too much in D here. I would look at one of Boly or Mee to Was-Bissaka at 4.0 and upgrade TAA to Robbertson with that .5 and Fabianski .5 savings. You'd then play Robbo and Coleman (I like Coleman and have him, also look at PVA) each week and chose Jags or Boly/Mee or Obe Wan-Bissaka as the 3rd.

Salah, Jota and Mkhi I like. I would drop both Keita and Schrulle down. One to either Richarlison/B.Silva/Cairney etc and the other a 4.5 (I have Challobah).

Strikers: there is a theory Kane doesn't score in August. He is also now very late back to training, after a big summer. I am avoiding and have spent on Aubba and Kun up top. I Like Arnie. Don't like Wilson. King is the pick of the BOU strikers, otherwise I would have Zaha, Wood and Austin ahead of Wilson.

    Good luck!

    Thanks for that!

Great info Sajjos and Goodnight Kiwi. Cheers!

Revised team at this point - pending a decision to try and 'go large' in round 1 then wildcard....

    Ederson / Speroni
    Robertson / Coleman / Boly / Jags / Wan-Biss
    Salah(c) / BernardoS / Mkhi / Jota / Odoi
    Aguero / Firmino / Arnautovic

I think my plan will be to create a GW1/GW2 specific team and plan for an early wildcrad.

Too many players coming back late from the world cup so just go for some people more likely to take the field and then bring in all the big guns when they are back.
Normally use an early wildcard anyway

Not sire how this will actually translate to team selection, i'm mostly just guessing anyway

Defenders from Southampton and Bournemouth plus mids/fwds from Liverpool and Man City? Or something like that.....?

    Team at the moment:

    DDG
    Cedric - Robertson - Mendy
    Salah - Mkhitaryan - Schurrle - Jota
    Tosun - Aguero - Arnautovic

    Speroni, B. Silva, Wan-Bissaka, Peltier

Apparently Bernardo Silva is guaranteed starts early on going by Pep's recent comments. Not sure if I'll stick with him or not yet.

Nice team mate. Would play BSilva over Schurrle. Think people are getting a little over-excited about him. Happy to be proved wrong, but he isn't on any pens, frees or corners. More of an experienced head. Think Mitro, Sessegnon or Cairney may score better than him in the Fulham side.

The thing is SOU and BOU cannot defend at all.

Yes, there are some good players potentially missing GW1 but I don't like the thinking in setting up for an early wildcard. Maybe 1/2 punts but why not try and crack it straight away. Look at going with 3 Pool, 3 City and build around that Milch

I want to play Silva but not sure going with 3 City players against Arsenal away from home is a great idea, especially with so many World Cup stars underdone.

I just realized Cedric might not play week 1 so not sure what to do with him. I can upgrade to someone worth 5.0 but I don't like spending a heap in defence.

Still unsure on Schurrle and Tosun especially since Everton have been dog shit in pre-season but their opening fixtures are great. Schurrle to Richarlison could be a go but then I'd have to ditch Tosun because I don't want two Everton attacking players.

Tomkins is a strong 4.5 pick (even though you have Obi-Wan).
I think if you're paying that much for a player (BSilva) he should be playing each week. Play him or change him.
I have Richarlison and think he could go well. Around Tosun's bracket there are some good strikers (Zaha, Wood, King, Austin)...

    RMT

    Patricio,
    Robertson, Thompkins, A. Smith
    Salah ( C ) Mane, Fraser, Jota,
    Kun, King, Arnautovic

    Fabianski, Richarlison, Mendy, Wan Bissaka

    .5 ITB

I believe Bournemouth will tear shreds off Cardiff first round thus the emphasis on them.

Richarlison and Mendy to run on second round.

    Your thoughts appreciated.

Thanks Clack Bocks, Wolves tend to go for it in attack historically. Their defence has been questionable but with a gun keeper I hope they can tighten it up.

Don't think Shaq is nailed on. Will probably come on at like 60/70mins most games I would guess. Will be used in early Champs League games and FA Cup would be my guess.

KDB - for sure. Want him in soon. Just think he won't be quite fit first few game weeks as I believe he has just returned to training.

Yeah, very nice side. Feel you could have too much on the bench:
    - Could cut .5 off Fab. I am playing Patricio each week
    - Richarlison should start at 6.5 - he is the type of player who could score v anyone
    - Mendy I have too and am on fence about wether I play him v Arsenal. He has assist potential in him even if they don't keep a clean
    - Obi-Wan - great 4.0 but could even play instead of (I presume it is) Tomkins of Palace. Another .5 saving
    - Smith of BOU I like the least. Spend your spare cash on upgrading him. Look at PVA, Coleman, Luiz, Bellerin, Bailly....

Also, I have made some offers of Morata. Milch has seen his and rejected. You may not be interested in Morata, so please reject. Trading is a big part of drafts and keeps things moving and exciting. I will probably look to throw out a few each week for actual wants but some for shiggles.

NB, please note where trades are, when you have been offered a trade, and how to accept/reject.
