    According to zero tackle they are paying Greg Eastwood 800k in 2018. At best he is only worth half of that.

    While the figures on zero tackle are most likely incorrect, using them as a guideline it is not surprising they are in salary cap trouble.

    2018 salary figures

    Graham = $1million
    Jackson = $600k
    Mbye = $750k
    Bmoz = $700k
    Jmoz = $700k
    Woods = $800k

    Including Eastwood that is $5.35 million spent on 7 players.

    Exactly.

    They are paying overs for multiple players if the above figures are anything to go on. $1.4mill for the Morris brothers who have only scored a combined 11 tries this year. Say they score 3 tries between them in the next 3 rounds (although highely unlikely with their current form) that is $100k per try! Greg Eastwood on 800k is absolutely ridiculous. Those are exorbitant prices.

    Wow - some of those numbers are ridiculous! I can't think of too many wingers or centres worth 700k, but for the Morrises?!!! Apparently the dogs are paying part of Kasianos salary next year when he goes to the storm too.

    A lot of those salaries are also back ended too, caught out the Tigers and Manly in recent times too.
    That and gambling on the salary cap going up which turns out less than expected.
    A combination of short term planning and ineptitude of the power brokers running the NRL

    Anyways with Foran out today it will be a young halves pairing for the Warriors, unless they spring some weird left field selection on us. Wonder in Mannering will play on the edge again?

    Hasler is the king of backended contracts. Did the same with Manly and fucked up their whole cap before he left for the dogs

    In the only H2H league I care about, I've got Taupau, DCE and BJ +15, vs his Cotric, I. Papalii, RTS and Uate. What are my chances?

    I reckon that you'll be alright...

    778 + Taupau, Teddy and TTurbo.

    Should hit 900 but probably not much more than that.

    Would really like Teddy to be the one to give me the third 90+ score in my team this round, please.

    Expecting the warriors to get smashed by the raiders... even so... I was expecting the Eels to smash the Knights, so you never know.
    As long as RTS gets some good fantasy points towards my 1000 I'll be happy

    I'm not done yet. Have been busy. No trades left, have had Munster and Macca stinking up my bench. Still hanging in there at 756th, 802 this round with Kapow and Turbo to come.

    My life advice is the best life advice. I'm the sage of this forum.
