Neil Henry should coach the Warriors. He's an old school hard nut that would thrash them hard in pre-season & wouldn't give a phuck about hurting the feelings of all the snow flakes in that team. I also think plenty of Aussie players would follow him to the Warriors so he could then get rid of the current crop of Warriors players that are just not up to nrl standard.

I need a bit of injection into my team this week so I might bring in Slater who should carve up the Knights who won't have the artillary to compete with the Storm.

With Surgess at prop I can see Souths steamrolling the Warriors up the middle. I think with the emergence of Murray Souths have an awesome 2RF moving forward. Fui should be playing in the backrow and Sutton on the bench or leftrightout IMO. Not sure why Kelly is named on the extended bench, is Reynolds or Walker in doubt?

If my nudie comp team is anything to go on then Reynolds won't play this week.....

Imo fantasy wise Surgess scores best in the front row because he does plenty of hit ups, makes plenty of metres & gets a few tb's & offloads away. With the current state of my team I basically had to play him anyway so with him playing prop is good news.

The Bulldogs drama could be good news for the Warriors. As they were just saying on 360, all the teams might have used up all their cap but I think the Warriors would be one of the few teams that haven't. So either way they could get Woods or Graham depending on how the situation pans out.

Nothing confirmed as yet however there are rumors that Adam Blair will be signing with the Knights after rejecting an offer from the Warriors, if true you would think the Warriors would be chasing another prop. If it turns out to be true I would love to know what the Knights have offered Blair.

My H2h Matchup as it stands

My Surgess, Cotric, Rapa VS his RTS, Vaughn, Fuimaono.. I have RTS if I want to make it a 2v2 but it has to be Surgess who gets replaced due to reserve constraints...

    Thoughts on the matchup?

If the Warriors can't secure the signature of someone like Blair it just shows what a total mess players in the nrl think the Warriors are. If he has signed for the Knights then they are assembling quite a roster. Ponga, SKD who is already there, Moga, Ese'ese, Blair maybe. Add these players to the Saifiti twins, Barnett, Buhrer & the young bucks like the Mata'utia bros, Lamb, King, Fitzgibbon, Yates & Levi. It's a pity they lost Gagai because they'll have quite an exciting team.

    The Knights 2018

    Blair, Levi, D. Saifiti
    Sione, Buhrer
    Barnett
    Lamb, Watson
    Moga, Peter Mata'utia
    SKD, Ponga, Ross

    Ese'ese, J. Saifiti, King, Yates/Fitzgibbon

Then you have back ups in Pat Mata'utia, Sio, Chanel M., Wardle, Stone, Cogger, B. Elliot, Paea.

Looks quite a good squad & possible further signings to come.

Fitzgibbon has to be there for sure, especially over Yates IMO. I rate him highly.

Surgess scores way better playing lock than prop

I'd keep it as 3v3 and hope RTS has a quite game. Fui also may not score well. Keep the Surgess POD.

Let's taper our expectations, lads. We're 4/5 years off challenging for the title.
