Knights need a vetreran prop in the Scott/Graham ilk to mentor the quality young core in their pack

Absolutely agree Welshy.
We need a leader, off the field mainly. He needs to know about diet and sacrifice. Get our young guys to understand what it means to step up and be accountable.
I'd be going for Graham for sure. He's a front row leader and someone those young guys will look up to and be inspired by.
Blair will sit on his laurels and do fuck all. I don't want him at my club.

I knew I forgot someone. A very good player & will start in the 2nd row. Buhrer will start hooker with Levi on bench.

At what point will Levi start working towards playing 80 mins? I might be in the minority here but I don't think playing Buhrer at #9 long term is ideal. Then again it is probably better then signing someone like Lichaa.White Lightning wrote:

Heard this a few times from various people now and don't particularly get it.
Has done an outstanding job in this very role at the Broncos and our young blokes coming through appear to have benefited.

Funny, I was looking at trading Slater out this week. He did score 70 last time against the Knights, but the Knights are a much better team now. Slater hasn't been the same since that knock to the head.

Under a coach who will bite your head off for not pulling your finger out. Takes a great coach to get the best out of him. I think he'll go back to how he played at the Tigers

With Munster seemingly back now should I dump Fifita for Teddy? Or dump Fifita or Taupau for Vaughan? Or do nothing lol

Every single club would want Graham as he is one of the top prop's in the game and a fantastic club man to boot.
It's not a valid comparison.
If you aren't the 1 club out of 16 that jags Graham, then not sure why you wouldn't want Blair - pretty accurately fits the description bolded above.

He offers little, lazy and paying him a heap of cash forces them to play him over the younger players the knights have coming through whilst offering little off the field, if they start getting flogged he is not the player you turn to
Different at the donkeys where the pack is far more settled

I don't have him but I'd be tempted to dump Taupau. Has been very ordinary of late. Then again so has Fifita. If it is your last trade I would hold for one more round.danseels1985 wrote:With Munster seemingly back now should I dump Fifita for Teddy? Or dump Fifita or Taupau for Vaughan? Or do nothing lol

Look at the pack Blair plays with and played with when his game was on....
Complete different kettle of fish going to the knights who need someone to dig in, take some bumps for the development of the youngsters and team, that isn't Blair
I would hate him coming to the Warriors as well

Sounds more like a coaching issue then....
For what it's worth I think Browny is doing a great job and would be competent enough to manage his players

Knights need someone like Nathan Brown
An absolute warrior constantly putting his hand up for the tough carries and working his ass off in defence

Our pack was full of rookies and barely rated coming into 2015.
Even this season, with Parker retiring our pack was looking pretty weak (on paper).......winning a lot of games has made it look far better.

Not sure what pay packet he is on but seems to be earning every penny of it.

Really?
McCullough
Gillett
McGuire
Thaiday
Sims
Then boom rookies/youngsters Easy E and TPJ
Top 3 would walk into 90% of packs in the league

Yeah it's my last trade, however if Munster is back then I don't necessarily need Teddy,I could trade either to Gillett or JTurbo? How does that sound? Would leave me with this team
Smith McInnes
Fifita/Taupau Brown Eisenhuth Fai
Taumalolo JDB Gallen Crichton Surgess JTurbo/Gillett
Pearce DCE NuBrown Hampton
BJ Scott Fuimaono Kelly
Munster Mansour Edwards Hayne Phythian
