Is the color commentator Ice? can't keep Haynes name out of his mouth, even when his involvement in the play boils down to 'got the ball and passed it like any self-respecting back-line player'

surely its not that hard to ask the player in question and run with that pronunciation, i've heard Naiqama prounounced at least 30 different ways since Wes entered the league.

Haha, nice one.
He really did just wander around didn't he, lazily calling the shots and putting people through holes and kicking to corners, so nonchalantly, like he never really got out of second gear and still looked a class above everyone else. which is easy enough to do against the Yanks. He will need to step up a looooong way to get Fiji deep into this tournament though.

Really looking forward to watching Teddy, Vaughan and Brown in the next game. Will be interesting to see how Johns goes.

Johns has killed Italy in the first 20min, 3 early penalties cost them points then on attack his only involvement was a silly forward pass when they looked likely to score

Johns has been woeful. Looks to be way out of his depth.Shanbon wrote:Johns has killed Italy in the first 20min, 3 early penalties cost them points then on attack his only involvement was a silly forward pass when they looked likely to score

i dunno if he is, but i do know NRL.com are including fantasy points in the official stats just like they were for regular season games, even though they aren't using them anywhere.

Beat me to it mate. I found it weird too they included them. No need for them really.

Surprisingly, I didn't realise Hayne was the equal leading try scorer in World Cup history.

Quirky stat that he is not the highest try scorer for any country in RLWC history. He’s 5 behind Fulton for Australia, and 4 behind Uate for Fiji.

Once again shows his versatility.
