The Warriors will win the spoon. The period where they get all of their points is the bye period but this year it has changed meaning the Warriors won't be playing understrength teams anymore.

Never thought of it like this.

The same can be said for mine and a few others Fantasy teams as well!

    Lol

If Don misses any time at the start of the season i think your backline is lacking a fair bit of depth mate

pack is decent and I hope they dump Elgey for Brimson, but unless the forwards can get on top of teams early I think you will struggle

Fear not though I backing my Warriors to struggle to get out of the bottom 3 this year Very Happy

Looking forward to another great season for the Eels.... A bit annoyed with the return of Hayne though. I'd love to see Guth at FB, but I think Hayne might reclaim the no.1 jersey

If Arthur is clever he dumps Taka puts Hayne in the CTR and puts Guth in the 1 with Smith and a utility

A starting prop for example is on the field in a period in the game where a lot of Run Meters and Tackles are being made. That's why like I think it is a solid indicator in 60+ minute players, particularly over a season as they will be there for the ebbs and flows. I don't pay it much value in short stints or impact players who change to a long term game. However someone like Jai Arrow who is primarily a base stats guy it could be a solid guideline.

I think it has its uses no doubt! I mean no one projects 40 minutes stats over 80 if a player steps into a new role, but you can use base stat guys like mentioned above to get a decent read on scoring potential.

    Greetings everyone! Very Happy
Year-or-so long lurker, first time poster.

Have moved from Wellington (die hard Warriors fan) to London and am thinking you guys could help fill my NRL Fantasy banter void from back home. Looking forward to getting involved and chatting with you all as well as holding down the Deadzone with those in the Northern Hemisphere (hence the Goodnight Kiwi). Thanks Milchcow for all your work + data, absolute legend!

Lock ins for me at the moment are: Smith, JBrom, Cartwright, Milne, Tedesco.

Bring on the endless changes, the bolters at the 9s, the big boys training the house down and the endless bugs in the app on opening day!

    Cheers Welshy Smile
NBrown and Hiku are actually in my full draft team currently too. NBrown is not a 100% lock in for me yet due to being my 2RF Gun and keeping my options open. Hiku is there for now, as a locked in starting spot for the Warriors should see him make good cash.

Harris I have thought about, but have also thought about him being the only Warrior (bar Mannering) arriving first thing to training day after day while the other boys turn up midday with Wendys and wondering what a huge mistake he's made. We have a habit of breaking strong signings, I hope I can be proven wrong.

NBrown average when in a full time lock role last year was 58 mate, priced 6 points above his current average, I'm rewarding him with the start this year haha!

Harris also priced around 8 points below his usual average paying 80 mins on the edge, I think his extra defending for us will counteract his attacking prowess he won't have haha

Also UK-based atm, and looks like I have similar "locks" to you two in CS9, JBrom, NBrown, Harris, Carty, Ted, plus a few locked in pending teamlists (Lodge, Arrow, Milne, Kikau).

Also looking for some more left-field low-ownership players with DPP... NAS, Moylan, SKD and, good grief, Aubusson.

where are you based atm Rhinoceroo lad?

Any inside knowledge on the Moylan punt? averaged under his 34 total last year after 8 games in the halves (avg 30) compared to his avg of 37 playing fullback?

I think Coote is undervalued with JT back

edit. sorry just seen the dpp statement regarding those players listed

First Aubbo stat line for the year

When playing 2RF for 80 minutes Mitchell Aubbusson averaged 46.5 points a game (13 games) compared to his season average of 39.1 points per game (23 games)
