Does he play in the halves with walker at fullback or does he play of the bench or miss out all together?

When's his 300th game?  It'll be his last year, the coach will want to phase him out, he's been relly ineffecitve for a long time now.  CHuck him on the bench and once he's reached his milestone, bump him out, same as they did with Merrit.  Having Surgess, Murray and Angus would be much more effective than Sutton.  maybe put Sutton back to centres?

I doubt he'll be in the halves, Walker and ARey have that covered.

Ala Crocker, the greatest decoy Captain of all time. Is Sutton still in the Leadership group?

Looking at the Warriors opening 5 games they'll be lucky to win 1 of them:
souths (a) perth - they don't have a very good record there with la long flight
titans (h) - after coming back from a long flight from perth
raiders (a) - again a pretty poor record in canberra
roosters (a) - that's not a very promising game against a probable top 4 team
cowboys (h) - it only gets better lol

Surprised by the Fifita talk. Her is the one player Queensland DON'T want picked. I think he'd have to have a pretty shit start to the year to not be in the squad.

Yeah, pretty rough. Kudos that they keep coming to Perth, I don't know what the NRL give them for it but it is VERY MUCH appreciated by the game over here.

I reckon the only reason the Warrior's are still in the competition is because when they play in Aussie over half the crowd are Kiwi's.

I posted a comment the other day which I read in sc addicts that Sironen has been training at 6. I know Sironen made his debut for the Tigers at 6. All the rumours have Croker partnering DCE in the halves but if Sironen did play at 6 this would be good fantasy wise for DCE as I'd say he'd be doing all the kicking. Also with Manly signing Thompson they could just keep Winterstein in the 2fr freeing up Sironen to play in the halves.

    Warning haha = reply fail

This should of been in response to Alfie's post about DCE's 2016 kick metres.

    Lol

Biggest crowd of the year at CBUS bar a Broncos game I reckon.

Well that's very worrying as a supporter. I can't see us making the finals again if he's at 5/8

Personally i think siro training at 6 is just a cover injury during the game thing. Maybe Manly are going with 4 big men on the bench.

DCE is more effective when he can play the running 5/8 role leaving someone like crocker/hastings to be the organiser

That could make Api a little undervalued if he plays 80

There was nothing more frustrating last year than having Lewis Brown and Jackson Hastings both on the bench. I don't think either of them offer any impact or value off the bench

With Wallace out for the first couple of games, stockwell injured, James moving to the 2nd row and a couple of middle men moving to the warriors, does that mean big minutes for Latu? Apart from last season how has he done fantasy wise in the past?

Very good spot. I'm thinking Boyle could benefit as well. He looked good at times

My favourite player is Ryan Simpkins so I hope he gets some decent playing time this year. Hes a hard worker and deserves it

    Welshys Player Profiles

    2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 2 - Page 7 Bunty_10

    Player: Bunty Afoa
    Club: Warriors
    Position: 2RF
    Cost: $494,000
    2017 average: 34
    2017 minutes average: 59
    Handsomeness rating: 3/5 Mitch Aubbussons

Bunty was one of the few warrior forwards who could walk off the field holding his head high that he had given everything on the field with Manners most weeks. A worker in the tackle area who could probably do more in the running game, Afoa could be set for some decent minutes in a warriors backrow lacking much depth after him, Manners and Harris. Warriors could be set to offer the starting back row big minutes and rotate the powderpuff front rowers more.

    Starting 2RF points average: 38 (12 games, 1 try)
    2017 average when playing 70+ minutes: 42 (8 games, 1 try)
    2017 high score R1 & R21 49 (no tries) 2017 low score when playing 60+ minutes R19 30

    Wrap up
Afoa and his fantasy outlook will hinge on the minutes he is afforded from Kearny, if he gets anything over 65 minutes consistently he will be a decent buy, if he jags 80 minutes he will be great value after being priced at 34.
