Yeah he's been the biggest letdown/mystery to me in quite some time. When we announced his signing i was sure it was a masterstroke and just that little extra the team needed. Unfortunately he just hasn't clicked or doesn't fit the structure/those around him, which both his on field and fantasy performance reflect. That said, no Hodgson and if Austin was shifted out of the halves would be a lot more like his time at Titans... maybe he'd bounce back to those old scores.Mighty Fishes wrote:

I've recreated a league from last year invites went out and some people have joined however I can't seem to find how you can actually see who has joined and who hasn't (besides the email that I got).

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 2
First crack although not too impressed but took like 10 minutes;
Smith
Scott Lodge
Harris Murray Arrow
JT Cogger
Milne Moga
Ted Ponga GI
Garvey
Watson
Cook
Carty
Croker
Whare
Kikau
Butcher
Not sold on the QLDers to be honest bar Smith, also Moga and would like to get Lichaa in there too really. Have 124K spare too which is nice.

(a) Munster & RFM (apparently has 2fr spot) or
(b) Cronk & Lichaa
Anyway I've gone with (b) in the following:
Smith
NAS, Lodge
Brown, Murray, Arrow
Cronk, Watson
Hiku, Kennar
Tedesco, Ponga, A. Gray
Lichaa, McGuire, Cartwright, Garvey/Havili
L. Croker, Fonua, Milne, Whare

If RFM starts in the 2rf I'd go option A

I have absolutely no interest in Lichaa what so ever. Nu Brown will almost certainly be a utility with Frawley or Cleeland starting

The reason I mentioned the Austin hypothetical earlier is because there was articles discussing both Austin and (dear god i have no idea why) Bateman training at hooker, personally don't think it will amount to much unless the club doesn't see Austin as a long term halves option any longer (or in the case of Bateman maybe he lost a bet?), but thought that might be worth noting so you could consider a team that didnt have Garvey/Havili on the rare chance they aren't a nice choice.
As for the question i prefer A personally.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 2
I dropped Scott and added Moose as I think he's underpriced and will be a workhorse. Dropped Cook as I don't see Farah not being there unfortunately. At the moment;
Smith
McGuire Lodge
Harris Murray Arrow
JT Watson
Milne BJ
Teddy Ponga GI
Lichaa Cartwright Garvey Croker
Havilli Whare Kikau Butcher
Damn, I like the starting team but bench and reserves too weak. Luckily we have 37 days to get this right until the first game where we curse every one of our decisions.
