    Trades this week.
NPR RCG> CC JFB and CS9> Macca.

I didn't know how to talk like that before I joined FF forum.

Whitehead's shitty score making me feel like Im half way there to making the perfect trade this week. Now just need Taumalolo to bust out an 80 Smile

i think Griffin is ranked 4th, and I'm more likely to pick 2 of the other 3.

I've sort of traded JFH in on the assumption he keeps his big minute lock role, so I should play him (if I don't think he'll score well it was a waste bringing him in)

Yeah makes sense on JFH (I toyed with trading him in this week, and I still might, but Im just not sold on his role and not sure its worth the risk - more thinking there for me). I like Griffin cause he has the highest floor of the lot. He's unlikely to bust out 60s (like the other guys could) but it seems like when he has the 80 min role he'll hit 40 most weeks which I'll take from my 17th guy. Its conservative but so far so good.

I'm not sure Griffin keeps playing 80. Knights keep losing people early to injury, and Levi in the team soon.

Brown seems to rate him though so maybe he keeps powering on

Yeah perhaps - will wait and see on that one. But you are talking about this week aren't you? I.e who to play of those guys you mentioned for this round? Levi not named in the 17 this week so I'd be surprised if Griffin gets <80min.

Not sure what your team looks like, but this year in the forwards in particular there have been a ton of successful cheap options: Rochow, Lodge, RFM, Griffin, Kikau, Arrow, and then a couple slightly more expensive guys like Cook and Murray. There's 1/3 of your squad right there for ~$2.4m if you got them before their prices shifted which equated to just a touch more than 1/4 of your team budget. If you managed that you could basically fill the remainder of your team with guns and cows and you were golden.

Hindsight's a wonderful thing but as it turned out if you got a bit lucky from the start and then traded hard over 3 rounds to fix problems and missed players then right about now you are sitting pretty with a pretty deep team - way deeper than last year it feels!

Easy to get a gun team here. I haven't touched (and don't intend to) my back 3 of ted, dufty and ponga. Centres atm are GI and Aitken with GI to maybe matterson a target later, macca and cook at hooker. Makes those 1% calls all the more important as i think everyone will have a strong base team.

Everyone can get the extra free 14 days of the coach. Just turn on projections and should be at the bottom of the page

Generous salary cap compared to fantasy. Lots of value, especially in second row. 2 free looks before price rises means its easy to get the big cashies in (eg no excuses for not getting all of Kikau's profits)

Fuck, somehow sitting there with only 3 reserves, and Cook was the one missing out.
That is going to kill this week's scores

    401/6 instead of 473/7

Ouch, that hurts. Gonna be some big scores this week. Lots of popular guys going big. I’m 515/8 with the c on Cook

807 with Fisher-Harris, Kikau and Arrow to come.

Don't know how I got Cook out of my reserves, was just playing around with Rochow/Lodge/JFH/Griffin and someone ended up with only 3 reserves selected. Normally its Fanhub who lead to that sort of shit happening.
