Watson and Carty atm, but depends on Carty's position obviously.

Sounds like they want to keep James on an edge to defend next to Elgey so there is still a starting spot for Latu

it shouldn’t, not with that WFB! Plenty will run that CTR partnership with a much worse back 3

I have gurgess in my watch list. If he shows good signs in trials and nabs the starting spot i may have a go at him.

Would love to know if hes training the house down

If the coach is sold on Taylor and Elgey then yeah, have to wait to see if Carty and/or Arrow start. With whispers Peachy may still come it could be a major logjam, especially if James is going on the edge.

If he can match the likes of JBrom/Alvaro etc. he good be a great pickup for the price and could be worth a gamble starting.  There is a couple of games on ox with Souths including the Charity Shield so it will be good to see. I'm not convinced he'll turn it around but hopefully all his niggling injuries are behind him.  If they are, he could go back to being a quality prop.

Aitken interviewed, reckons he will get more ball this year with Hunt inside him. For those tempted

Yes he is & I think he even came back to pre season earlier than was scheduled to make a point in 2018 after missing out on the world cup. He really has to fix his poor ball skills though.

And so he should, is going to carve this year. Dragons to make the top 8 easily this year. Value to be had in Aitken and Dufty I feel.

Tossing up between Dufty, LMitchell and Inglis for third WFB spot. Aitken and Milne centres. Feel I have to have Teddy, Ponga is undervalued especially if GK.

Rapana, Edwards, Turbo I hope start off slow.

Apparently B. Hunt is going to play like a traditional halfback & just follow the ball so he'll play on both edges with Widdop just staying in the middle.

Anyone else read that gagai interview, said some odd things re leaving a bottom placed side to come to a contender.. mentioned Farah as being one of "the guns" at the club..

On Aitken. He is tempting & is one of the few ctrs that is consistent but he's only come back to training after his injury & can his body last. I think someone posted on a previous thread that he had surgery to remedy his back/hamstrings. But with 2 quality halves & a dominating pack it can only be good for the backline.
