I don't often comment on rate my team posts for this reason. But the best way to think of the posts is to just concentrate on the PODs mentioned.

Eg recent RMT had all the standards with Cordner and Slater. That is worthy of discussion (even if I didn't personally contribute, I took an interest in it)

Gone cold on Latu after digging through some stats. Averaged 36 minutes and don't see him getting much higher. 6/19 games with 20+ tackles and only 2 games with more than 100 metres.

Every year since I started playing fantasy I've always wanted Kasiano in my team but never did because of his minutes. The Storm factor makes him appealing. I think he was lazy at the Bulldogs because he knew he'd play shit minutes so he wasn't motivated. With NAS getting minutes on the edge then maybe Kasiano is in for more minutes than he was playing at the Doggies. I see he was averaging 30 minutes so maybe now it could rise to 40.

Can't see Kas getting extra minutes, Bellamy will just use him situationally to his suit best needs. He is a no go for me or at least a wait and see

I share these sentiments MS. Being a starter might push him to 40/45 and a new club and new role might spur him on a bit and he has averaged decently in the past but will probably give him a miss

What is everyones opinion on Twal?

I had him as someone who i believe will be a handy mid ranger but what does everyone else believe?

With James, Jwal, Proctor and Carty(likely) commanding big minutes and also a big minute hooker I don't see much room for growth

Going to be a gun real life player but don't think he has much fantasy value. Pretty much 1 PPM for an average of 40 minutes. Woods gone but replaced with Packer and Matulino. Don't see the upside

Someone mentioned Dufty a few pages back and he’s been in my team ever since

The guy is a gun but he'll come off the bench & for his price you'd want him to start & play big minutes. He averaged 40 minutes in 2017 but I think this was due to injuries. I notice in the final 2 games of the season he played 28 & 34 minutes.

Twal is on my list. He is the type of player who I reckon can elevate to gun status if he gets the opportunity for more minutes

Can see potential for him to move into the backrow, Mcqueen will get injured and Lawrence is winding down, kid is an animal and just needs a bigger role, would love to see him get it

Further on Twal. I think Twal & Eisenhuth will be used as interchange props & I can see Eisenhuth getting more minutes than Twal. I think the minutes will be:
    Matulino 45, Packer 40, Eisenhuth 40, Twal 35

Thats a shame though, would have been a very good mid range cash cow

Could be good for later in the season with Twal dropping some value then being thrust into a larger role if any injuries occur or Cleary mixes it up

Thats very true, have to keep him on the watch list.

Whare? good third winger to have? or go with someone like a isaako?

Cash cow potentially but I wouldn't want him starting mate, Haven't seen enough of Isaako either to comment on his fantasy ceiling

I wouldn't be abject to having him on my bench as a potential money maker though

Was running Twal and Smith in initial drafts.

    Now running Friend and Tapau.

    Will probably change again.

Who really is a good third winger to run, im not looking to spend too much when there are other areas i would rather have more cash invested in

I like Friend, especially if Keary misses some early round games, Taupau priced accordingly but nothing wrong with a 51 average

players i prefer in his price bracket Brown, Papalii, McGuire (more value) Graham (value + higher average potential) James (higher average potential) Frizell (value + higher average potential) Merrin (value + higher average potential)

A lot of cheap wingers are cheap for a reason.

Hiku is probably the cheapest winger with half decent prospects of scoring acceptably (he is probably in your centres though)

Its either that or hope for a boom rookie to pop up in the next few weeks (Sione Katoa of the Sharks is a hopeful, but he isn't even in the game yet)
