if inglis is eased back into it and starts in the centres, we still gonna start with him? theres every chance he fires but i think its more likely in drops in price making him cheaper to pick up when he goes to fb

One of my drafts teams, would you blokes please give me some feedback on this team.
Smith
Bromwich, Kasiano
Brown, Murray, Harris
Croft, Watson
Hiku, Milne
Ponga, Teddy, Hughes (dont know about him)
Cook, RFM, Arrow, Cartwright
Lodge, Croker, Garvey and Gray
Thanks Lads!
Nice team mate. Swap Lodge with Kasiano as Lodge will play more minutes. Hughes plays for the Storm & unlikely to get a run until origin time so swap Gray with him. You may need to get another couple of wfb's because of Hughes & Gray isn't assured of being in the starting 17 for the Sharks. They just signed Hodkinson so if he plays Holmes will end up on the wing ousting Gray. Even if Hodkinson doesn't play Gray is in competition with 2 other players for the wing spot.

Alright im gonna sound like a prick right now but is it really necessary to sign up and with your first post, ask people to rate your team, which is comprised of 98% of players whove all been talked about all preseason already? Not saying my team is any different.

I wouldn't get him if he's playing ctr.

I take no offence with your post mate but this is a forum & feedback is crucial. Asking for a rate my team is the reason a forum exists. People liked to be reassured that their team is ok.

One could argue with CTR he is going to see more ball so therefore more attacking opportunities. Souths will want to get Inglis going I'd imagine, and get him going early in the season.
In saying that. I haven't even made my team yet or looked at how much he is worth.
I've picked him in previous seasons, albeit as FB, and he seemed to average 40ish, and that's with him doing nothing. VERY frustrating to watch though.

Agree but we don't want a community here where people only want help rather than giving it too.

The no ‘please’ and ‘thanks’ bugs me, this is a community of people with a similar interests not a service. Bit of respect for the people that take the time to respond Etc.
Personally, I don’t have a lot to offer stats wise, outside of a few raiders scoops. Always happy to get a response.

100% agree but sometimes an individual doesn't have the knowledge &/or confidence to give advice. As long as they state in their post that they are a rookie then I think they can get away with it.

You fit in Hi, Please and Thanks so Finch will be alright with you.
Kasiano looks good and trimmed down but hasn't been Fantasy relevant and I doubt will become relevant this year.
The other issue is Hughes as again no real reason he is going to improve.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 4
Some people want to know the "Must Haves" but are there any players who we shouldn't* be picking at the start of the year?
Players that finished the year on a high, therefore this year will be priced above their average. Or perhaps a player who has shifted clubs, and his points are unknown.
* Personal Opinion
Edit: Matt Orford-esque

I've been thinking about the impact Kane Evans will have fantasy wise this year. I think about the impact Brad Arthur had on Nathan Brown turning him into a much improved player. I think Evans has some chinks such as consistency, discipline & application & maybe BA can have the same effect on him. There's no doubt that when Evans gets it right on the day he can score well so maybe this year he will get it right on most days. Thoughts & thanks.

its funny ive had Kasiano on my watchlist just because he is at Melbourne. He has always had the skill but was lazy and unfit. If he buys into the Storm culture i think he can improve and make money. Im hoping he is more Norrie then Rose

This is Taumalolo for me. Averaged 11 minutes higher than previous two years and with Scott returning+McLean being added I don't see him getting as many minutes. Was certainly a career year with 55% of scores above 60 points(compared to 17% and 9% last two years) but I don't see it continuing.

If he gets to play against the US national team, I'd captain Teddy even if he was named at prop

Tad harsh I think on that sort of response, not everyone reads through the shed load of pages to see who has picked what and the vast majority will be the same players because there are so many great fantasy players and people on this forum
Whenever someone picks someone out of the blue anyway they usually get told to swap with player X that 99% of teams have anyway

Its the minutes though in that forward pack. Brown gets bulk minutes in the middle, the other guys all rotated a lot and will continue to do so. Alvaros big minutes came in games others were injured early otherwise Matagi/Mannah/Alvaro/Vave/Terepo/Scott all shared fairly similar minutes. Evans will most likely get 30min, im not sure he will be a 1+ppm player.
BA has gotten the best out of Brown but if you watched him play at Souths he already played like this only he also gave away 2-3 penalties with brain explosions and had an error in him. BA has shown him how to control his style (like Manu Mau), i havent seen that in Evans.

Every year since I started playing fantasy I've always wanted Kasiano in my team but never did because of his minutes. The Storm factor makes him appealing. I think he was lazy at the Bulldogs because he knew he'd play shit minutes so he wasn't motivated. With NAS getting minutes on the edge then maybe Kasiano is in for more minutes than he was playing at the Doggies. I see he was averaging 30 minutes so maybe now it could rise to 40.
