I know he was highly rated by the Raiders, But he wouldn't be the first highly rated youngster not to kick on in the NRL.

    Awesome thanks.

Really surprised by that. Always passed the eye test and was clear leader of that team and on the field would have won many man of matches. Guess we see the odd half like that in the NRL too where that dominance doesn’t always translate. Cronk would be a good example of it

He ranked 4th in the league in Line Break Involvement. Clearly talent there, but it doesn't necessarily translate into fantasy points.

Kicking the ball and making tackles are vital to be a fantasy gun half, but aren't necessary to be a quality player in real life. Issac John (223 avg km vs Croker 90) did the bulk of kicking for the Mounties, which Croker could probably easily have done for a few more points

Just read an article = nrl set for penalty crackdown as problem area resurfaces

They are talking about incorrect play the balls. Referees blew 14 penalties for incorrect play the balls in the trial Storm v Newcastle. They are going to penalise players rolling the ball between their legs without making a genuine effort to touch the ball with their foot.

    Potential Fifita buyers beware.

I'm glad they're going to crackdown on this because it's one area of the game that really annoys me.

Detestating. NRL in the UK was better than back him previously on premier! It’s like EPL in Oz you get every match including all the 3pm games on red button. Sad times we’ve lost thaT

Hi all, love the forum, great community and insights.

    1. Can someone give me their thoughts on Foran at the bulldogs please? I don't know his stats from past years, but it would seem that he potentially gets the lion's share of kick metres at the bulldogs given the no.6 will be someone inexperienced? Potential value increase?

    2. Also does anyone have a resource where we can see all 2017 fantasy stats for each player (round by round, mins, kick metres etc?)

Thank you for any input, have a good Friday!

Absolute joke mate! Don’t get me wrong I’ve got sky already but going from 8 games a weekend to 3 is a real shitter! Fucks up my weekend routine getting up early to catch all the early morning kick offs before I check any fantasy stats and scores and try and judge my players from what I seen live

Foran is certainly a name that hasn't been mentioned but he's not all that fantasy relevant IMO. He did have a few decent scoring games with the Eels though when fit if I remember rightly. But won't Frawley be the number 7 and the primary kicker? Foran could go better at the Dogs if he's fit and got his head right, but I don't think he's one that would help you get above the rest.

    G'day mate.
    1. Foran is rubbish & with his history of personal problems & injury set backs he's a wait & see.
    2. If you go to page 1 of this thread you will find what you're after.
