We all know these teams lists are bogus for the reasons already mentioned. Do the people picking them know anything about rugby league lol. You gotta laugh with Oates & Takairangi starting ahead of Glenn & Moeroa.

i know someone brought up lussick earlier in the year. a bit of a hothead and loves to miss a tackle, but if he starts he only needs 30 to make some coin

He is playing in a more competent team, with less of the attacking focus necessarily going through him and him being required to make big plays. He could certainly drop in value as Cronk, Tedesco and Friend all find their feet together.

Yeah that got me interested. Potentially a safer bet than some of the cheapie outside backs. Less chance of a big score (or sequence of,) though.

why do all the predicted team lists have Albert Vete starting at prop? He played reserve grade pretty much all year and James Gavet was awesome

Does anyone know anything about Wayde Egan? Was listed in No 14 in the Penrith lineup.

Also cites Afoa missing the warriors lineup, I have him penciled in to be playing on the edge.
On Lussick, i have no faith for him to ever make it to 30 to earn that coin. Like, even once.

For those talking themselves out of Teddy, its true all the attack might not go through him, but its Teddy a hell of a lot still will. Dont forget there will be kick returns and hitups every set, which equates to some TB's and even potential line breaks.

Lussick is priced at under 20
His 2016 + 2015 average was around 29.
He won't be a superstar, but there is some value there. I think I'd rather trust Kane Evans though

I don't think anyone is suggesting Teddy's average will go down to 0.
Just that it might not necessarily shoot up from the ~50 it is now

If you don't take teddy though, he is one of few players who can wreck your season from the get go.

Just on possibly dropping Tedesco my 3 guns are Smith, Brown & Tedesco. To find the cash to balance out my squad I'd always drop the back. Having said that there will be weeks when I'll be thinking "why did I do so" when Tedesco goes crazy especially with the Roosters early draw.

Buhrer is priced at 45avg right now. He's been a ~50 avg player starting in the 2nd row before. I don't think I'll punt on him but I think there is a bit of value there.

It may have already been discussed but I am keen to see some statistics about how Moses did at the back end of the season.
He has some shit house scores for the Tigers early on but still averaged over 35 for the whole season. How much would people say he is under priced by 5 to 10 points?
If he could average about 45 he would be a great option No? Better than Connor Watson I believe?

Yeah, agree. Lussick is also in danger of being overtaken by AFB and (less likely) Perrett. Though lussick probably suits taupau as an opening pair

2017 he scored 91 in round 1, so a lot of people rushed him into their team. He then followed that up with a 40 and a 38, and only got 4 scores over 60 in the next 20 games.
2016 he averaged 63 over the first 6 rounds, and 47 for the rest of the season (that is after taking out a few injury effected games)
So if you do start without him, don't panic trade him in just because of 1 big score.

My gut feel is that all the predicted team lists are overestimating Buhrer's chance of starting over Lachlan Fitzgibbon. And I would not be surprised to see Buhrer play a smaller role this year
I'll be avoiding, as even if he looks good for round 1, I wouldn't trust him to maintain it in future rounds

Panthers 20's hooker, rated highly. Great out of DH and great attacking and defensive balance from what i've heard. 2017 Holden Cup team of the year. Don;t know too much sorry

You'd think Katoa would be in front of him especially since they preferred Katoa over Rein & gave Katoa quite a bit game time especially when Wallace was injured.

Averaged 32 at Tigers, 36 at Eels.
Averaged 42 at the Eels in the back end of the season once he'd taken over goalkicking.
Priced at 35. Guess his long term value depends on if he retains the goalkicking when Gutherson returns. The extra 5-10 points a week makes a big difference.
He is very hot and cold though - if you get Moses be prepared to get scores varying from under 20 to 60+. Play for the season total and not the week to week scores.
