Any insight why Croker not named for Manly? I know it's a pretty fringe squad but would have thought he'd be one of the guys they most want to take a look at.

Meanwhile, told you Kikau would start season 2rf for the Panthers and be a base price starting DPP. Kind of a shame though because everyone will have him if it turns out that way.

Perfect if he gets named on the bench for round one and moves to starting just before kickoff like Taupau did at the tigers

Possibly with such little halves depth trying to protect him

How does everyone think Croft will go? Currently tossing up between Fifita/Croft or Graham/DCE combo. The latter potentially gives me two keepers whilst Croft is the unknown gamble

Yeah manly arent playing any of their spine. Theory, if theyre set on croker then theres no reason to play him if the other key playmakers arent playing either

Jo Manu will be on the wing for the Rooster won't he? No chance of the CTR spot?

Most of the first choice team isn't playing - T.Turbo, Uate, Taufua, DCE, Croker, Koroisau, Taupau, Thompson, Sironen, J.Turbo, D. Walker is injured.
Interesting that Kelly & Tom Wright are the ctrs.

1.6% is lower than I expected...

"Melbourne have been training five-eighth Ryley Jacks at hooker during the pre-season.

The 25-year-old spent the final 20 minutes of the Storms trial against Newcastle slotting into the No.9 position in a sign that Craig Bellamy could be set to use Jacks in a utility style role thus season. Cameron Smith’s back-up hooker Brandon Smith has been training at rake and lock."

Could be set to spell Finucane but there in case a half goes down (Smith to halves) or if Smith himself goes down or gets an early shower?

Up to 3% now, that will be minimum 10% if TLT keeps him in the starting 2RF spot

only thing im worried about is if the doggies run with a 4 man big bench including eastwood and elliot/fualolo as that means unpredictable minutes.

also with frawley and foran as the halves i dont expect a lot of creativity. they do the same thing; mostly kick for tries and repeat sets. maybe this bodes well for mbye in attack?

RFM may not necessarily play 80 minutes.
    Klemmer, Lichaa, Woods
    Jackson, RFM
    Tolman/Fualolo/Elliot

If they go with either Tolman or Fualolo as lock then Elliot would be on the bench & could very well spell RFM.

Lichaa also. But how much of it was Frawley for example and how much was it Des' plan of attack?
