If they go with either Tolman or Fualolo as lock then Elliot would be on the bench & could very well spell RFM.

He needs no where near 80 minutes to be useful, priced at 27 points he should hit 35-40 in 50-60 minutes, he is big body who likes work and can bust tackles. If he gets 80 he will be a GUN

The 25-year-old spent the final 20 minutes of the Storms trial against Newcastle slotting into the No.9 position in a sign that Craig Bellamy could be set to use Jacks in a utility style role thus season. Cameron Smith’s back-up hooker Brandon Smith has been training at rake and lock."

Could be set to spell Finucane but there in case a half goes down (Smith to halves) or if Smith himself goes down or gets an early shower?
Belly and Stick chat fairly frequently IIRC, wonder if Storm might use the Smiths similar to how Hodgson and Baptiste were used, each game fairly differently with the top player (CS9/Hodgson) getting 80 pretty much every week but possibly acting as a 3rd half for some of it or the bench player spending some time at lock. Would be interesting to see it done right rather than how we often did it :S

That's an interesting theory. Perhaps with the young halves combo if there is a game they are stuggling Smith moves into that role to help with direction a little more.

Burher being made captain makes me think he’ll start and play big mins. I suddenly want him now.. even though I know he’ll hurt me again

He will hurt himself first, which in turn will hurt you.

Meanwhile, told you Kikau would start season 2rf for the Panthers and be a base price starting DPP. Kind of a shame though because everyone will have him if it turns out that way.

How long before CHN comes back and takes the starting spot?

Kikau probably still going to be the best option at that price though, even if he only gets a week or 2

It also suggests that Kikau is first cab off the rank for injuries or HIA's. Could end up doing a Hess!

Joe Greenwood has bulked up to be part of Titans Prop rotation

better news for those who run Arrow and  Carty?

Titans going to be hard to get a read on from their round 1 team.

Wallace suspended round 1. So too is Hipgrave (who might or might not be in the first choice 17, but we won't know for sure until round 2)

Arrow and/or Greenwood might go to front row as a temporary measure. So might be hard to work out who preferred lock is - Cartwright or Arrow.

Personally I think Greenwood isn't in the top 17, though could well play there to start the year due to injuries.

Who knows, Titans could have another shocker year with injuries, and anyone who can keep themselves on the field might be a useful buy, a'la Wallace last year who got the last man standing fantasy bonus.

    https://www.bulldogs.com.au/news/2018/02/11/dean-pay-excited-to-watch-2018-squad/

In this interview (2 days old) Dean Pay mentions Nu Brown will get a run (in talking about potential halves players)

If Brown is in disciplinary trouble, did Pay just forget that, or did he deliberately not mention it.Or did he pick up an injury in the past 2 days.

Trials. See how Aitken is moving after his hamstring/shoulder/epidural stuff and how Dufty is looking having apparently bulked up a bit. Limited stats for Dufty so hopefully a couple of trials helps.
