Hey all, long time lurker here.

What's people thoughts on forced dropouts being added. It should be a natural boost to players in dominant teams like Cronk and Thurston. Probably won't hurt Smith either.

Does anyone have stats on these for last year?

    Forced drop outs 2017
    Widdop 162
    Green 150
    Moses 126
    A-Rey 126
    Townsend 126
    A. Taylor 126
    DCE 114
    Norman 114
    Morgan 102
    Cleary 96
    SJ 96
    Milford 96
    Frawley 78
    B. Hunt 78
    Cronk 72
    Keary 72
    Moylan 72
    Pearce 66

Forced drop out are usually from teams that struggle to score tries. The top teams don't have to rely on them because they score tries more easily so don't have to rely that much on repeat sets.

NAS is such a beast & will score a point a minute & with attacking stats on top of that. Also the previous page had his tackle count & he was quite busy for such a big man. I think 42 minutes will be about right for him.

So the guys at the top of the count are undervalued by about 10+ points per game.

Most halves will be undervalued because of the new scoring category. Thurston and Croft also not on that list for obvious reasons will benefit also.

Yes that is correct. Milchy has previously made the point that forced drop outs aren't reflected in the prices of all halves since it is a new scoring category in 2018.

WL - I'm pretty sure your list is SuperCoach points - 6 points per drop out.

Best halves will only average just over 1 dropout a game. But its a nice free 2 points that isn't in their price

Tariq Sims would have been of interest to me if he had 2RF/FRF DPP. With the role he played last year he should have received DPP, but he didn't Sad

Don't forget Slater only played 40 minutes which gave a few free minutes around

(B Smith probably got the biggest benefit, would probably have only played 10-15 minutes otherwise)

I think ill make my first change Munster to Croft. I like the role Croft played last night and think Munsters points came at FB not 5/8. He was already set to be dropped from my team because of the field stuff, i think that will affect him through the year.

Reposting as I didnt get a response:
Thoughts on Merrin, Munster and Jo Manu? Also what are people expecting from Watson?

And are you conscious of having too many origin players? Got 2 or 3 atm and conscious of adding to that myself.
