Thoughts on Merrin, Munster and Jo Manu? Also what are people expecting from Watson?
And are you conscious of having too many origin players? Got 2 or 3 atm and conscious of adding to that myself.
Merrin - usually a slow starter points wise & best to buy after origin but reports that he is training the house down. If you want to be conservative pass on but if you're a risk taker then take the plunge.
Munster - he is a gun & a great running half & is busy in defense so he gets 20 odd tackles, a few tb's & high run metres per game. He isn't cheap though & plays origin
Joseph Manu - could be a good pod with the Roosters early draw which should see a lot of tries scored. I think he's on Cronk's side so he could benefit.
I have Smith & Tedesco as origin players but I don't see any problem having 3-4 because there is plenty of time to trade a couple out.
I don't have Watson in my team atm because I think Pearce will get most of the ball & Watson will be living off the scraps but he is cheap so he will be a useful enabler for dearer players & should score 30 odd points which is ok.

NAS and 228 player V Connor Watson and Kane Evans (Evans will be emergency 18)
Thanks in advance
I would go with GI's track record of fantasy scores
Although NAS looks promising as a player, I don't think he'll go up by much fantasy wise.
Watson should do OK as a cash cow and I think will be of better fantasy value. I don't expect too much from Evans... but I could be wrong

Mark Gasnier just said Leilua is in genuine competition with Tariq Sims for starting 2nd row spot.
I assume he has some sort of inside knowledge at the Dragons to not be talking complete shite

Magic number is around 14640
Use 15,000 for in the head calculations, its close enough.

Yes that is correct. Milchy has previously made the point that forced drop outs aren't reflected in the prices of all halves since it is a new scoring category in 2018.
Never though of it like that. Could be a case for stacking the 14-21 with people who will force line drop outs when playing rather than hookers. Anyone made a team like this yet?

For an extra 2-3 points per player? Other people are underpriced by more.

Thats why there isn't a single raider on that list... not because our halves are woeful at getting repeat setsWhite Lightning wrote:

Forced drop out are usually from teams that struggle to score tries. The top teams don't have to rely on them because they score tries more easily so don't have to rely that much on repeat sets.

Not sure if this team is too top heavy in the forwards as it means I can't squeeze in Tedesco as this team is right on the cap. Opinions please lads:
Smith
Fifita Bromwich
Brown Murray RFM
Croft Cartwright
Milne Hiku
CWalker Ponga Katoa
Lichaa
NAS
Arrow

Don't like him but Klemmer is playing very well so far, plenty of strong runs early

Also refs seem super quick to blow the whistle if there is a hand anywhere near the ball once a player gets up, not sure if its been the same in other games
