Can I ask, who put together the 2018 Team Planner v1.0, the one that's linked to in the first post on page one of this thread?

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 5
Vaughn would be worth the price tag if his minutes were cemented but it looks like he might have played a few extra on the weekend too.
There is so many of these mid range forward options popping up, it's gonna pick pure pot luck in picking the right ones I'd say.
Does anyone think Cook cemented the number 9 jersey from the game on the weekend? IMO he's certainly more in front of Farah, but I guess the Charity Shield will give us more insight.

there will always be one or two of those guys that actually hit their potential each year though, eg Vaughan. they are rare though.
AFB is a good footballer, has the ability to break tackles, bust the line and offload. that said i still think he's a bit of a trap - but im really tempted
guys like evans don't really have that extra "x factor" to bump up their scores.

I've put AFB in for JBrom at the moment which gives me the funds to get Croft in.

If anyone knows a kid who needs a pair of size 13 boots for up coming season let me know I’ll send these to them. Worn once.
don't know if thats an indication of how bad his injury is? sucks if so. nice gesture to send his boots to someone though!

He's being sarcastic by the sounds of it, he's done for the season, going by that.
I think I'll stick with AFB now. Should be great for the price.

Thanks Chewie.
Well, Milchcow, THANK YOU! That spreadsheet is such a great resource and tool! I'm having a real blast pouring over the player stats, getting lost in the numbers! So cool. Much appreciated!!

Wouldn't he miss the testimonial because it's sponsored by the NRL?
Either way, I don't think he will miss that game anyway.

haha, dont know. but i doubt the NRL can go and suspend him (because of their own financial interests) from his own tribute game.

In a way I hope he misses round 1, as that is going to throw the cat amongst the pigeons for us Fantasy players

Exactly. Might be a case of "Play this game, but sit out Round 1"

would be interesting. I'd still pick him and just play an emergency for week 1.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 5
This FRF guessing game is doing my head in. I know the score blew out for the Storm but I was actually a little concerned still of JBrom's numbers. I reckon he may struggle to average anymore than 40 personally now. Less than 50 mins despite Slater injury, 16 tackles and a lot of passing at the line leading to low metres gained. With an 80 minute hooker, bench players who are just as good as the starting side and the style the Storm play from side to side I think their just isn't the base stats anymore for Storm forwards. Kaufusi and NAS will still to well due to attacking stats. Don't think I can run without Smith and Croft now too.
I think I will need to run with Lodge and watch Mark Nicolls closely for Souths this weekend. Vaughan put up a good score (not sure on minutes) but that was without JDB and Frizzell in side. Very concerned with my original Aitken pick aswell.

4-6 weeks for Lussick
i am very keen on Nicholls. but it still remains to be seen where he fits in when other names return.

Seems like a contradiction to his tweet. Maybe AFB not a solid pick after all. Damn this FRF drama.
Nicholls was good indeed, and he could nab a bench spot but not sure if it's worth it, I doubt he'll get the minutes to make him worthwhile.
