If you are talking about Lussick getting rod of his boots, in a follow-up post he mentioned he gets rid of any boots he gets injured in.

What a life we live where we analyse football player social messages to the Nth degree.

I did think at the time Smith reacted pretty poorly here.

Ah, makes sense. Obviously a superstitious thing. Cool that he does give them away then.

Yeah, I wonder sometimes what I'm doing with my life with this game haha. Yet, I can't turn away!!

Warriors wrote:This FRF guessing game is doing my head in. I know the score blew out for the Storm but I was actually a little concerned still of JBrom's numbers. I reckon he may struggle to average anymore than 40 personally now. Less than 50 mins despite Slater injury, 16 tackles and a lot of passing at the line leading to low metres gained. With an 80 minute hooker, bench players who are just as good as the starting side and the style the Storm play from side to side I think their just isn't the base stats anymore for Storm forwards. Kaufusi and NAS will still to well due to attacking stats. Don't think I can run without Smith and Croft now too.

I think I will need to run with Lodge and watch Mark Nicolls closely for Souths this weekend. Vaughan put up a good score (not sure on minutes) but that was without JDB and Frizzell in side. Very concerned with my original Aitken pick aswell.

Don't think I can run without Smith and Croft now too.

The passes in close to the line does limit the amount of RMs he gains but it does open up the likelihood of TBs and Offloads being made against a weaker line. When someone mentioned that happening, people commented it on a return to his old form

At the moment I have Graham and Bromwich and Lodge and I feel unsettled about it.

Yep, would add an extra element that's for sure. I think he needs to cop a couple of weeks, lashing out like that needs to be curbed. That could have resulted in a pretty serious injury.

if that was Taupau or Josh Reynolds they would be getting a few weeks, Smith will get a slap on the arse

I'd be very very surprised if he missed any games, even though he should.

I'd still start with him, missing a week might even make him somewhat of a POD haha. Probably not, but I reckon a few people would jump off him regardless.

Not often I disagree with you Welshy, but you probably picked the 2 worst examples there-both those blokes have gotten off serious hits/acts very lightly in the past as well, haha.

Deadset though, I think Cam is very lucky it didn't cause an injury.

You decided to go skiing in Bulgaria instead of coming to see your mob in the double header at Perth. You put the first brick in the wall between us!

I can't stand Smith. Worst grub of a player in the history of the game. Gets awarded a penalty for someone tackling him too hard, then elbows the guy in the head for good measure, not even a reaction from the ref. Would have loved if the other player got up and put one on Smith's beak.

That said, he's an incredible player and the first selected for my team.... can't let personal bias get in the way of fantasy glory. Haha
