So this is my team in league 2:

    Smith
    Fifita, Finucane
    Surgess, Merrin, Guerra
    Thurston, Reynolds
    Aubusson, Hurrell
    Ponga, Johnston, Holmes

    Matulino, Proctor, Townsend, J.Morris

Overall, pretty happy.  First time picking first in a draft.  Obviously there are advantages (CS9).  But every time I got my two picks, it was a long wait in terms of time and players until the next go around.  Knowing 14 players would disappear off the board before I got another pick meant a decision between taking the best player available or pre-empting a run at a position I had yet to fill.  In the end I went the best player route and was pretty happy to pick up Fifita at the end of the second round, Surgess in the third, Merrin at the end of the fourth.  But last year I picked Nathan Brown in the 13th round, Wallace in the 14th, and Joel Thompson in the 21st.  Not sure I managed any late draft steals this time around.  In terms of misses, I regret passing on Moylan in the 15th round, only for him to picked up in the next pick.  I think he'll go well, and his DPP would have made him an ideal contributor off the bench...

Anyway, good luck to everyone in L2.

Just for clarity, which of those players are you happy with? Must be one but I'm completely lost as to which it is.

To get Smith, Surgess, Merrin, Fifita, Thurston Aubs (CTR) and Ponga I think you did very, very well.

I'm afraid to post my team up now haha!!

    ETaylor
    JBrom, RJames
    Taumalolo, NBrown, ELowe
    Hunt, CWalker
    Gagai, BTaga
    Tedesco, DEdwards, Slater

    Liu, TSims, Moses, Dugan

After finishing 3rd in the past 2 seasons I decided to change my draft process thoughts, I usually go for a more mid range forward pack and high end back hoping to blow matchups off the park when my stud WFB all go big, but after failing to win close matchups when my WFB failed to muster anything above ordinary I decided to go more elite and consistent in the pack and fill out elsewhere

I was pretty happy to get the highest averaging 2RF and one of the most consistent last year in Lolo and coupling him with NBrown. If Macca was available with the 3rd pick I would of grabbed him mind. I filled my FR out with James and hoping JBrom returns to form, if he does those 4 will give me a really solid floor, Liu and Sims could be in for role changes and are good fill ins if Bromwich is still fantasy shit.

Bhunt and Walker who also offers DPP verstaility allows me a good half pairing with the potential to go massive

took a punt on BTaga starting 2RF and the ever impressive Gagai who can potentially get some more attacking output at the Bunnies

Tedesco in the 3rd I couldn't leave there and Edwards and Slater make my back 3 pretty solid, with Dugan lurking on the bench

    overall I'm pretty happy

Some excuse for above list of nuffies

    overall I'm pretty happy

    Hahhahahaha

    ahahhahahaha.
Nah I'm kidding. Its not bad. Except for Bhunt, Lolo and Gagai that is, you should offload those for a decent hooker and say a bench forward.

we need to start coluding Wink

When he doesn't have guns he has ultra solid, players like Lord Finucane, Guerra, Aubbs and even the explosive big scoring potential of guys like Holmes and Johnstone

Great drafting or poor from surrounding draftees?
