Fantasy Help Needed!!

Hi Guys,

Haven’t played NRL fantasy in a number of years and just wanted some advice as how to go about it.

I’ve registered for NRL fantasy...
Is SuperCoach better?
Is it based on players performances each week? Or based on their trade value each week?

Check out some of the other teams posted. I am not a fan of having Klemmer, Kaufusi, or Gagai aas there is better value there. Kasiano has never been very fantasy relevant and Liu and there are better cheap options than Lui.

Fantasy is based on their performance each week and that affects their prices. So trading later is decided based on money. WHich is dictated by how well they are playing.

Supercoach has better prizes, and the scoring is different in that it favours attacking stats more. Fantasy is more played around here though.

How’s this team look?
I know I need to change the bench players to starting players.

Tried to put a mix of rookies and people who’ll be good for entire season.

Best advice i can give you is to back yourself.
Forums like this are good for a bit of discussion and for the occasional reminder about a player you might not have considered, but should certainly not be a bible. We back plenty of players who end up duds.

Oh and make sure you've got a captain in mind when you're building this team, the reason Smith is so popular isn't just because he has such a high average, but also because he is quite consistent in those scores so he's a great captain choice, set and forget. That's also why people tend to throw up names like Mannering before mentioning Teddy, even if they end up averaging the same its much easier to hold the faith with a consistent scorer and not be tempted to move your captaincy around each week (and potentially keep picking a low scorer for the week).
