Re: The Betting Thread
Had Storm live -14.5 Smith missing that kick cost me the money.
And Swans live and kicking for goal was horrid.

Re: The Betting Thread
Put your house on the sharks today over the Panthers. If Tigers had of beat Newcastle and the Panthers beat the Sharks it would open up a 2 game gap to the top 4. Clearly this early in the season the NRL didn't want that considering the impact it could have to revenue. The refs have been told who will win to keep the top 8 bridged.

Re: The Betting Thread
Good tipping No Worries.
I would a thought the panthers are certs tonight.. the bulldogs look atrocious. Cannot work out who wins todays early match at all, very hard to get a grip on it. Eagles by a nose.
I cant tip my hat of late, so probably back the opposite of the above.

Re: The Betting Thread
I've gone in with Panthers 13+ originally I thought 1-12 but felt like jumping on board with you guys.
DWZ for first try for a huge collect.
Patent bet
Sio/DWZ/Tom Boyd. First try/goal
Boyd has kicked it so if DWZ can score I'll take 3/7 bets it places for $70 on it

Re: The Betting Thread
Max Almighty at $15 and $4 the place is very good value in the last at Perth today lads. Has had excuses the last couple in better company; drops quite a few kilos on when right up there in the same class over the last few months-jagged a nice place collect the only time I backed him back in January and have been watching since.
The worry is the jockey change, with Carbery having been on board up till now for the history of forever.

Re: The Betting Thread
Ended up going 10 by 50 on Max Almighty; got $4.25 on TAB fixed for the place somehow and then came in late. I would have just about taken that for the win! Couldn't have done much more in the run for a terrific 1/2 length second.

Wangoom Hcp at Warrnambool tomorrow. It's always a must bet race for me.
Class is a bit down this year and climate change means it's not run on the usual heavy track.
I like how M. Price places his horses. So MR 8#7. Bassett hasett

Bassett started 20 to 1. Runs third. pays $4.80. Back it eachway so that works.

Nice work. I always go each way but I only have 1 or 2 bets a week so it's more the fun, the money is a bonus, on the rare occasion I don't back a donkey.

Re: The Betting Thread
I love the 3 day Warrnambool carnival. Horses coming from all over the place to compete in big fields.
So my second bet for the carnival will be in tomorrows Warrnambool Cup. Race 9 #13,
Scholarly has won his last 5 races in lower grades. Dropping 6kms here though. Why would Waterhouse/Bott be turning up for this race if it didn't have a chance? Current price $21. Expect halve that price.
And Scholarly is not what I am. lol
