For anyone that took Waikato at $5 to win the championship (they are now at 1.75) I'd be (and am) taking Otago @ $3 for cover now. They both have home semis. Waikato will win theirs and get a home final but given Otago just beat Waikato in Waikato I'd say they are a decent chance of both winning their home semi and beating Waikato again in the final.

Is it correct that the Mitre10 playoff game is not on Fox today ? It's amazing, they show the games all year and then no playoff game, with plenty of spare sport channels showing random programs.

I left out race 6 because you couldn't make your mind up and Ascot because it was a short favourite. Threw in Chewie for a $14K multi. Missus might get that bathroom she's been asking for.

Today's gripe. Similar to one I've had before.
Why aren't bets returned when a horse is scratched or doesn't make the cut till after the race ? The bet sits there as suspended like some act of god is going to occur and it just happens to be at the track watching the other horses and the stewards feel sorry for it so let it run from barrier 26.
Same with backing a team to make the finals or grand final. The bet sits there like somehow14 other teams are going to get busted for salary cap indescretions and the day before the grand final Parramatta gets called up to play the Roosters.
Never happend, never will, just give me back my money so I can put more bets on !!!
