    Something like

$50 buy in. If we get 10 then that $500.

Random generator for each taking a turn a week to place bets. If we all lose then it will run for 10 weeks.....

$50 bet each week. $10 minimum bet to prevent taking the piss with 50 $1 bets. If more then $100 is returned in total for the week then the person who bet that week gets to go again (winner stays on)

The money stays in for the life of the club. So, until we either lose it all (NOOO!) or cash it all out - needing majority vote.

The controller places the bets each week so no need for everyone to have a betting account. Screenshots of bets will be posted to confirm they have been placed.

To make it easy for who has to place the bets, make the bet's that have to be placed notified by Thursday morning each week.

I'll get the new thread up today hopefully. Maybe Monday depending on work.

Live betting doesnt work too well in this format. We need some lead time to get bets on plus plenty of transparency in the thread on the bets etc. Live betting makes this tricky.

I actually chucked on a double, Anthony Joshua by Decision ($6) into Rams to win the Superbowl ($21).

So the first one came in which leaves me with a live bet on the Rams to return a touch over $12k. Rams made some big signings recently so i think they are every chance of being there at the end of the season.

Feeling very lucky to get through the Saints - I was all in on the Rams but the Saints were extremely hard done by on a couple no-calls on pass interference!

That said with gambling you take them when you get them huh!

Will likely hedge and would expect I should be able to guarantee ~$6k depending on how the price up the Super bowl! One of my better bets for a long time though: $100 on Joshua Decision over Parker back in March (@$6) into Rams (@$21) to return $12,600.

Good betting mate. I'd definitely be hedging if I were you, looking like an AFC superbowl win.

Cheers mate - I kinda like my chances regardless of who the Rams play. I'll be hedging for sure though, just need to decide for how much!

I've not forgotten about this. I'm sitting on it for a bit until we get a bit closer to the start of the NRL season.

    Smart move and great result!
On a somewhat related note do any of you lot use puntersclub.com.au? I've got a fair amount of money sitting in my account there thanks to the Pats and can't figure out how to withdraw. I've emailed them and no response so far.

A betting agency making it hard to withdraw your money. That doesn't sound right.
Surely it must just be your dick fingers ?

    Never heard of it either
Is it any good for the club ideas we have been throwing around that Sportsbet no longer supports ?

    This was in FAQ

    When can I cash out?
You can cash out at any time. using PuntersClub.com.au’s easy cash-out facility. Funds are transferred to your betting account where you can withdraw them or bet with them.

How do I collect the funds I want to cash out?
After cashing out, your funds are transferred to your personal betting account where you can choose to withdraw them or do with them as you please.

Which makes it as clear as mud

According to them its because the punting week isn't finished so the money is still in the bookie account not the club bank. It finishes today so I'll let you know tomorrow.
