Not certain but I think it has something to do with the extended Salary Cap and increased price in players?Moose wrote:Has the price change structure changed? Don't recall a player going up by 55k in the first week before...

Hi Foina, thanks for lifting lockout and welcome to the forum.
Question? I noticed you abbreviate your name to Phi. Can I ask if you are actually Phil? Phil from FanHub? Legit this seems very coincidental that you took over FanHub in 2015, the exact same time Phil reportedly moved to run FanHub in England. If so, sorry for all the abuse in 2014. You did a bang up job back then and clearly still are judging on the success of this year's la+unch.
Hi SI!
LOL that rhymes! You must get that alot!
Unfortunately, I am not Phil from England. You see, we both spell our names differently. He spells his P-H-I and I spell mine P-H-Y.
It is very similar and completely coincidental though, so I can understand the confusion, but thank you for noticing!
I did, however, DM your apology to Phyl from England via the postal service, so make sure to keep refreshing any fantasy related sites for a response!
Though I find it incredibly hard to believe that someone as sweet and charming as you would say anything that would warrant an apology!
Kindest regards,
- Phee

Yeah more than likely with Tapine out, Whitehead back at 2nd row and Soli/Bateman (please be soli) at lock. Would love it if they gave Murchie a crack off the bench. Maybe start the team as I've said for the first 20, then put him on and push Whitehead back to lock. Doubt it happens though.SI wrote:

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 13
I want Thompson for Katoa, and either Kikau or Papa MKII. The hard thing is who to trade out for the forward spot.
I'm thinking one of these guys;
AFB (looks good, but doubt he will be a keeper, more like a 30-40 pointer)
Arrow (Thinking the same as above)
Lodge (Same as above?!?!)
Whitehead (With a try, 49 isn't getting me too excited)
All going to plan, these guys will all make money, but with the 3 guys Im thinking of trading in, they'll make twice as much. Thoughts? I'm leaning towards the top 3, possibly Arrow

Hasn't the player pricing stretched a bit, 212k - 917k that we know off. Probably means bigger price rices for the rookies.
Where as years gone past have been more condensed.
Just a guess

Wasn't the earlier twitter report saying it depends on ligaments. Could be 1-3 weeks or 4-8 weeks (or something like that)?Moose wrote:Anyone know how long Tapine is out for?

The entire game now is calculated in New Zealand Dollars. Fun hub had a heap of spare time in the off season awaiting their impending impeccable launch so went with NZD price format to spice things upMoose wrote:Has the price change structure changed? I think he'll still come defend in the middle. He impressed the hell out of me with that game yesterday

My 1st trade will definitely be Katoa to Thompson which leaves me with 84k in the bank. Would like to bring in IPapalii if possible, any ideas of how I could do it? Or not bother trying to bring him in?

I was walking Pen Y Fan yesterday so I missed most of the game, 5 missed tackles in with his usual workload probably negates the try, so reckon that 49 should be very close to his average, plus the move to CTR obviously hindered his scoring potential for 15 minutes.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 13
I'm running the gauntlet without WFB/CTR coverage (beyond current DPPs - Kennar, Isaako who will both start).
I'm not able to watch games, but not sold on Thompson on the wing and Lolo seems to have the no1 back full-time with Nofo back to create unnecessary clutter in the backline.
I'm $1K short of Katoa to Rochow; but I've gone Katoa to Sam Williams. Although the Raiders half/hok rotation is a mess, sounds like he went well enough and is enough of an old head to keep his place.
When the round comes that I need a WFB/CTR, I'll dump whichever of Croker, Havilli, Williams or Knik in that order probably.

Yeah I think so, far more important fish to fry and I think its only a short term thing which probably barely changes his score. Could get lucky and he jags a try or two playing Knights then Warriors and is back in the 13 by Rd 4. If that happened you'd really regret making any changes to him.Welshy wrote:@Archer sticking with Whitehead through the probable 2RF move?

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 13
Kikau's B/e makes him very appealing as a Katoa replacement. 5 weeks of 30 point games takes him up 130k. Will probably pull the trigger on that as my only trade pending team lists
