App does not work for me on Galaxy S6 since update. When I click Play Fantasy it crashes. Tried everything. Uninstall Reinstall. Restart phone. Force stop. Sick to death of their crap tbh

Other than that Hiku>Thompson is extremely tempting. Only 15k in the bank. Would be my only trade. Katoa can rot and SST Croft get another chance

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 13
FWIW (even though i don't like all these people talking about Williams when i already have him) I think Ricky has shown his hand with last weeks team list re Halves - Williams will have one spot locked down and its up to Sezer/Austin (or even Hingano in the wings) to prove they deserve the other spot.
Could be completely wrong, but just going by the trial where Williams spent the most time out there in the halves and Ricky rotated the other two around, followed by naming Austin on the bench and then shifting Sezer there last minute... kinda sounds like a message to both of them to me.

Katoa is my only forced trade, croker and hiku really stunk the house down. It bothers me that croker scores so low, Will take a few decent scores to make it up. Watching croker play, I’m
Not sure he has it in him

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 13
First round score of 773 pretty happy with that. 2 trades this week, SST into RFM and Katoa into Thompson. My team looks like this.
CS9
Arrow, Lodge
Whitehead, Merrin, Griffin
Thurston, Cartwright
Inglis, Hayne
Ponga, Thompson, Duffy
Cook, RFM, Rochow, Lichaa
Kikau, Nicholls, Croker, Hiku
Probably wouldnt have made any trades this week but since Katoa is out and RFM has some nice price rises in him pulled the trigger. Only 30K in the bank

Yeah I think so, far more important fish to fry and I think its only a short term thing which probably barely changes his score. Could get lucky and he jags a try or two playing Knights then Warriors and is back in the 13 by Rd 4. If that happened you'd really regret making any changes to him.
I'm sticking this year. haha
Just need to sort Katoa out and I have $137,000 to do it, although I'm not enamoured with the options to do it, just feel Thompson/Kennar are a few weeks away from putting myself in the same predicament.
I'd rather really solidify the position up by getting a premier WFB in instead, I could downgrade Lichaa to achieve this

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 13
Other 2 trade option is SST and Katoa>RFM and Thompson. I underestimated RFM and didn't trust his job security and SST was disappointing play wise and no cherry on top kicking which I thought was dubious even though I got him
The above means I have to play Rochow Lodge FRF *vomit*
If Murray gets starts at 13 transition from SST to him looks better

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 13
Can’t believe I may just sit pat and assess my team over first 2-3 matches. Players like GI, Croft, SST could easily burn me just one week later.
Who am I and where is my tradewhore self gone.
I think Thompson always was a solid option but he’s not DPP (which I want in an NPR back), plays for the tigers who might have just had their birthday, and I’m not even sure if he’s nailed on season long. Got one of the most dangerous wingers in the league playing ressies.
Griffin on the other hand I want if I can just work out for who, without knee jerking a one off underperformance

I've got 179K and I'm in the same position. Think I'll be punting Matulino to either Griffin or RFM, shifting Kennar to WFB (he's currently in my ctr) in place of Katoa and then spending just about every last cent i have to try and get a semi reliable option there. Much for the same reason you've mentioned, i don't really want two of those super cheap backs in my team.Welshy wrote:

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 13
KNik owners, what's the plan? He plays Cowboys this week, BE 52, predicted -$27k fml lol I can afford to get any half to replace him.. I have no half cover atm so I'll need to trade someone in.. Getting Munster keeps $130k ITB or jump on Moses..
In other news, when comparing price rises to previous years, the rough maths is add 40-50% of what 2017 would have been e.g. +$5k in 2017 turns into +$7-8k or around about..

I might punt Lichaa for a downgrade option and get Latrell in for Katoa

Is it worth holding Katoa if he's on your bench, and waiting for next wfb/ctr cow, rather than spending 50-70k on someone with not much job security whose first cash rise you've missed out on?

Lichaa - Aubbs
Katoa - Kennar/Thompson
Think that's where I'll go till TLT at least

Hasn't the player pricing stretched a bit, 212k - 917k that we know off. Probably means bigger price rices for the rookies.
Where as years gone past have been more condensed.

I'll be binning him and not looking back. To be honest I don't really care who I bring in. He looked completely pedestrian.

I was walking Pen Y Fan yesterday so I missed most of the game, 5 missed tackles in with his usual workload probably negates the try, so reckon that 49 should be very close to his average, plus the move to CTR obviously hindered his scoring potential for 15 minutes.
What even is this mate?

If you have cover for your WFB on your bench still then your sweet. But who is to say that the next WFB cheapie to come along has any more job security? I think Thompson after last weeks performance has at least a couple of weeks in him and is the second string fullback if an injury occurs. Thats not bad even though you have missed his first price rise there is still plenty him especially if he jags another big score............ at least thats my positive thinking
