wrong combination of bench players this week for an average 737.
    Played Croker over Rochow/Kikau

Only real issue with team is Katoa and zero WFB cover

funnily enough only guys who lost me money this weekend were my keepers

    Fifita
    Tedesco
    Inglis

and I reckon Croft comes good.

Rest all made bank so I should be happy moving forward

Still Croft and Cartwright and for now.

Historically I’ll only ever play fixtures on one to two outside back positions. Everywhere else just play my best guys always, regardless of fixture.

If he truly needs Lamb hanging around then I think it’s inevitable Watson will end up number 14. Maybe not just yet because he’s likely been promised things as a new signing.

Cartwright didn’t inspire so will be interesting to see if he moves to bench or edge when’s wallace is back.

Up to his old tricks again was he missing tackles or just quiet and not looking to offload?
    How did Arrow go?

Just looking at some trades, who should I bring in?
Was thinking RFM and either Rochow, Kikau, or Griffin?
Worried about Sue and McQueen, will Kikau keep his spot, is he injured? Griffin scored a try and played golden point which added to his score and Levi and Watson are there.
    Not sure what to do..
Thinking Griffin has the best Job Security

Looked ok like he could do something in attack albeit too central and a little lost if anything. Awful in defence as he is just not that tackle machine lock style of player. I thought Arrow was solid. Improved as the game went on and looked like he would be better for the run. I don’t think he had much of a pre season so should keep improving. I expect him to wear 13 when Wallace returns, not that Latu was any good!!

    Croft and Watson, personally.
Edit: To elaborate a little, its because I think Croker just won't be a high scoring kinda player, maybe he gets a top score of 40 over the year if you're lucky and because Cartwright was just really unimpressive on the weekend. I didn't get to see the other two so take that on board, but history suggests they are capable of higher scores and might just need another shot.
I have Croft Cartwright and Croker and I'll be running Croft and Cartwright with Croker in EMG.

This year there should be two extra rules.
#1 If you didn't start with Kikau you are barred from trading him in.
#2 If you didn't start with Currey you are barred from trading him in.

What if you started the round with Kikau, but didn't finish the round with him?

Bench average of 13.9 in 2017 was a big turn off. Only got in 10 minutes before lockout, was close to not being ab;e to trade him out.

Ryan James looks like he would serve a greater purpose as a prop this season, with Latu coming off the bench and Wallace starting. IMO that makes a 2RF of Proctor and Carty with Arrow at lock. To me, that seems like the Titans strongest forward pack. Whether it happens or not, well, who knows.

RE: Job security. RFM looks like a big min player for the dogs. Don’t see how that changes too much. Griffin played really solid as the Knights hooker and it gave them some grit and a kick option out of dummy half. Can see Watson shifting to bench utility in a few rounds for 20-min stints. Rochow is a gritty player and always has been. That seems to be the type of players Cleary likes. McQueen has experience but honestly can’t see him moving Rochow out of the starting lineup. Unless McQueen plays first 20, Rochow plays 20-65/70. To me that’s dumb but I guess McQueen has a bit more more handling skills than Rochow. Rochow was used to clog the middle moreso than anything else.

How will Corey Thompson go this week. His matchup is Vunivalu isn't it? A huge height difference.

I did the same, I don’t remember him scoring well at all last year off the bench and I seen the team lists at the last minute and panicked.

Yeah I know and I will probably be bringing him in anyway. Playing the Storm twice in a month is what scares me though.

@manlybeaver did you bring Koro in? Can’t see him making 66 tackles every week but still looks pretty decent. You’re also in a good position for some great upgrades in coming weeks.

So Fanhub now doesn't show you the price change from the prior round? Mate these blokes always take 2 steps back every year. wtf

Is there a link to the BE's around here, Fanhub aren't getting my money this year because they just don't care.
