I think it's a bit early to move Brown. He should be a gun all year. I have KNik and he has to go, but I have the same dilemma. I can afford anyone but to go a gun or someone like Williams (or even Koroisau) and save the cash to upgrade to a fallen gun in Gallen / McCullough etc in a few weeks. I think Katoa to Thompson is a no brainer

if Doo Wah Diddy Diddy is named AND starts 7 then i might take a punt on playing him over cartwright...

Nah, he's a has been lol (probably eat my words later) I reckon Doueihi gets the gig anyway. Carty will improve

Brown to Crighton is the definition of sideways

Katoa > Thonpson
Carty > Douehi??

2nd one probably not nescessary?

Thinking about the byes, I decided to check what the rules are this year. Pasted below.

There are two Rounds with Byes (13, 17) in 2018.
During the Bye Rounds you select your starting Team of 17 as normal, but you will be provided with 4 Trades per week in Rounds 13 & 17.
Other than the aforementioned, all of the rules will stay the same during Bye Rounds, including the Emergency rule.

That means there are 10 trades available between byes (6 in Rd14,15,16 + 4 in Rd 17).

So if you field 17 players in Rd 13, and have 4 people on the bye (and no-one missing because of Origin), then the most you can field in Rd 17 is 14. Basically the maximum players you can field in the two rounds is 31, and for every origin player it is one less, so don't get too carried away with Rd 13. Maybe aim for 14 each round, no more than 15 for Rd 13.

They really should either make it so that only your starting side counts in those rounds, or give us a couple more trades to use between byes. SuperCoach is having a Super Trade week in Rd 15 where you can use 5.

We get 4 trades in r15 as well.

Now I have to decide which two of Thompson, Doueihi and Kikau to get. Doueihi could probably wait a week if you take BE's into account.
