Slater confirmed starter for his 300th game, at home this week. Do storm players ever play big milestones at away venues?

    2nd one probably not nescessary?

Katoa to Thompson should be a lock in.
L Leilua to Doueihi if you have Lucy in your emergencies maybe.

With JReynolds out then Mccllrick shares minutes with Godinet so too slow of a burn to make $$ quickly
Yep was hoping he would play around 50 mins but looks like a 50/50 split between hookers.

I’m not sure if Doueihi will make enough cash before ARey returns.

    Is he just another Elgey/Croker?

Out of the mid range forwards, surely RFM is the only one you look to bring in if you missed out on Rochow and Lil'pap. Their job security isn't clear, and its a trade in the first 2 rounds, which in 99% (unless injuries are involved) of times is a knee jerk trade.

Id be sitting tight and giving most players another week or two.

Players that I'm happy to see the back off are Katoa, Hiku, perhaps Havili

At the risk of repeating the Nonga mistake from last year, 2-3 weeks isn't long enough to interest me in bringing in Doughy (mispelling intentional, his ancestors bought too many vowels and i don't care enough to figure out which order they go in)

Any money Doueihi makes is better than Katoa's zero dollars. Just need to ride out this round really

@Fortitude that’s true on kneejerk trades. But when you have jerkface KNik in your team then I think you may abandon ship. He will leak some big cash in coming weeks and cannot see him improving against the cows.

I also have Liu who seems the odd one out in the roosters pack. He probably performed a little less than usual, but in saying that, they looked to others to cart the ball forward.

I think Croker to Douelhi is sideways and you'll be trading D out again in 2-3 weeks.
I don't think its worth it to fund Thompson, personally.

As a knik owner I am super skeptical of his ability to get a decent score this week as well.

But if you are looking for a positive, he scored 61 as starting half back in round 26 against the Cows up in townsville last year (no tries). Broncos did win that game, and obviously Thurston wasn't there (who he will match up against this week).

Think I'll just be doing katoa out for isaako. I'd like to punt hiku but not sure if it's worth the second trade.

Don't see any point in trading Croker. 25 isn't a score that really inspires confidence, but it's still a solid 10 above what he's priced at. Hold and let his value rise.

I've assumed you have L. Croker and not J. Croker.

Do you need Thompson to play 3 WFBs this week? I'd find other trades.

@Milchcow are you bringing in Kikau and Thompson. Makes sense this early in the season for cash generation. Even if they hit 25-30 averages for next 4 weeks should make $100K each? Only need one more big score and they make nearly $200K right?

I totally understand the desire to trade. But youre working off a very small sample size. He has one bad game (Read: Shit game). Im super risk adverse, I cant stomach risking a trade for no guarantee of benefit.

Round 2 will be interesting.. RFM, Kikau, Griffin, Kennar, Thompson, Papalii & Havili all scored tries which boosted their scores..

Guys like Tedesco, Latrell and Inglis failed to fire in sides that lost, and all may be revved up for round 2...

Could be a bit of a turnaround come end of round 2

Hiku was up against GI who just stands palms and goes in field, same as what R Jennings did. Yes Missed tackles stuffed him but he actually scored around 20 points or so in second half. Up against that Titans left edge this week Hiku could benefit. Actually broke 1-2 tackles and had a few offloads - I saw the potential for a 30+ score next week.

You can ride Havili for a few more weeks off the back of that score while not in your 17 and see what happens with mins.

Katoa is a trade. To Thompson is like for like and you will make 100-150K from it.

Whats unbelievable? A Reynolds injured. Because it was very predictable, making it believable.
