To be fair, I had no idea. I jumped on the train with him.

Just think there are better options now. This is the best start I've ever had in this game and would like to stay relevant haha

I was expecting him to do better than a lot of other midrange forwards like JBrom, Alvaro, Liu, NAS, AFB and average 45, he still could do that but thinking that cash generation is paramount. So for people who have missed Kikau, Thompson, RFM, Griffin etc the guys in the 35-40 point bracket I feel are the best to trade as they aren't going to be great cash cows nor are they going to be keepers. Happens every year that you end up with a few of these guys in your starting squad but moving early is pretty key. Last year I started with Matt Prior and moved him straight after round 1 to Jarrod Wallace, was one of my better trades after only 1 look at each player. Tauk will avg around 40 but that is not the greatest in terms of cash generation or keeper scores. If you have Kikau and SST currently I would actually go:

    Katoa to Thompson
    SST to Murray

Then have a look at Doueihi for one week.

Yep, probably the best option. I am keeping faith in him for now. How many minutes did he play on the weekend?
Fuck I wish we had a half-decent stats centre on the app!

EDIT: 33mins. As much as I'd like to think he'd increase back towards his old 50mins, I'm not sure he will... will keep an eye on him for the next week or two.

I certainly expect him to average higher than 22 either way!

Now I can not trade at all. App has never worked since update. Fan hub said I can use mobile website version that never worked for trades and now clicking on trade on PC does nothing now. Was fine yesterday and before

    Have you thought about

SST to Murray (should guarantee more points scored this round and 1 free look at Doueihi and more info on Reynolds injury?)
    Katoa to Thompson

I had only ever thought of Murray as a trade in next week, but sure could be moved forward a week.
Trading in Thompson worries me mainly for some reason. Just can't put my finger on it

The "trade in player and last weeks overall score changes" doesn't actually affect your overall score.

I took a punt on him in WFB, largely because he was the best option out of those that I could afford (didn't want Dufty, can't really explain why, just didnt feel right). I was hoping he'd take some long kicking to help his base stats. Pretty happy with how he looked on the weekend, he was very keen for kick returns and showed plenty of speed. Hopefully he goes under the radar a little as a footy player so opposition coaches don't focus on keeping him quiet.

Anyone else who went with the Guns and Cows approach, concerned about the real lack of quality cows? Most of the Cows that scored well, seem to have questions marks over them still. All I can see is having to do bulk trades in the next month.

One option which might work is opening the website on your desktop and change the size of your browser window so it changes the view from field to listview. Then try and make trades

Nope nothing. Tried Chrome as well as IE, downloaded Dolphin browser on phone. Nothing works. How is this even possible?? I'm starting to get paranoid now. I complain to fanhub they try fix I call it unacceptable then next I can no longer trade??

It's definitely functionality as S for Substitute works but clicking on T just highlights it like it would if you clicked on a letter of text on a website

Cows killed it in round 1. Anyone who went full on guns and cows would be ecstatic. Going to make plenty of cash over next few weeks

Would you trade SST before Lichaa?

Must haves this week out of Kikau, Doeuihi, Thompson and lill Papa?

Kikau obviously. Thinking Thompson as the other, Papa is a little riskier with Mannering coming back (possibly at Lock though) and Doeuihi a wait and see?

And who should I cut - Lodge or Arrow. Hard call, Cartwright was rubbish, thinking Arrow might move into lock when Wallace is back, or the bench. Lodge has more safety, and should make a bit more guaranteed cash?

I've dominated my work league since I started playing and some of the other guys took this guns and cows approach to the extreme even having 8 cows on the bench whereas I took the more balanced approach. I'm very worried just after round 1 with the rookies that they have and the guns they have compared to mine. laughed when I heard their benches before round 1 now it's theirs to lose really. Big call but it's true.

Kikau and Thompson are my trades. I'm not sure cutting any of those three would be worth the trade and monetary gain. Arrow I think will be a great player and will make money.
