He did play a tightfit Storm side that like to wrestle and slow down the play the ball. Will be a good indicator this weekend if he can run around the tired forwards of JWH, SST, Liu.

High scoring first half as well meant a heap of stoppages.

A lot of commentators on the weekend said Wighton should play centre and Cotric should play fullback(who played FB all juniors)

As raiders supporter, id love to see all these things happen. I rate whigton, solid in defence and offers plenty in attack, just doesn't have the brains to play fullback.

Yep. Once he gets into some tight tussles he'll get the tackles up a bit. I'd be worried if it was a score line like the Tigers/Roosters and he only got that score.

I thought the Dogs looked pretty good too so hopefully he starts getting some of those attacking stats.

Yeah, Whighton was damned good at Centre, good balance of attack and defense.

I bought Cotric from the get go because I had a feeling he would swap to FB at some stage. Cotric scored 37 on the weekend in what was a quieter game for him. Promising.

This is like someone training the house down.

No player will say they want to play a smaller role in the team. It's up to Stuart to decide how to use him.

I'll give Havili a week or two, but he's only in my team at all because of Kikau's benching. If he doesn't improve quickly I'll be looking for replacements

I want Thompson definitely and the way he's being talked up Doueihi. I don't want to sell SST yet or Croft so that really only leaves Hiku whether 2 trades or just the 1. Carty and Lodge the only other alternatives

Would you look at potentially getting rid of him this week for Kikau?

I've just offered McCullough for Fifita in my draft league. They have a red dot hooker and I have Cook on the bench. Seems super reasonable, right?

Giving Nicholls another week (or two) waiting for the burgess boys fumbling hands to start working, before the twins get hooked and then dropped. (long shot)

Anyone bringing in Williams over Thompson? Sam looks set at halfback, and should bag a few TAs off to Leipana.

Ricky loves Wighton so not sure if he would ever shift him from the back.

I'm trying something similar. They have King at hooker haha. I'm asking for Tedesco

Price wise for me, it really has to be SST for Kikau

I would consider it if I could afford it.

True. I can do SST, Nicholls or Havilli, but leaning towards SST. I just don't think he'll really improve.

I don't think there is a hurry to trade out SST. His BE is still less than what I think he will average.
His low score on the weekend does not worry me, but without goal kicking points, I'm not sure he will make the cash I want from him.

Still not 100%convinced by Kikau, do trying to decide if waiting a week is worth the $50k+ is going to cost me

I've flip flopped so much on whether to ditch SST... currently I have him traded out as a cash grab to jump on Thompson and ditch Katoa.

This gives me funds for next week to consider ditching a stalled cash cow (whoever this may be) to Murray.

It makes sense in my head anyway.
