@StormTrooper96 it’s stupid by Bennett. He did that last year too with Pearson and who was it. I’ve drawn a blank. Mead! Yep Mead. He literally rotated wingers for a bench swap. There’s no doubt in my mind Bennett thinks Boyd is crucial to organising the broncos defence and will use him for that sole purpose in the first 20 mins or so and then swap him out until he sees it necessary to bring him back on purely to structure defence. It’s dumb. If he does this then there needs to be questions asked by the club...none of this master coach BS.

If I owned him I would be hiding behind the couch during the game telecast. He may be crockered.
I am torn between getting rid of Croker or Havilli for Douehli. Your thoughts?

What is the likelihood of a Thompson bust? Something worries me about trading him in

Was Alvaros score of 40 what we expect to see going forward?

The thing with Thompson is that he has a bad draw against the Storm (A), Broncos (H), Eels (A) and Storm (H). But, the thing with Thompson is I was just impressed with his offloads, tackle breaks and general work effort. He played like a second fullback. If he scores 25's the next 4 weeks he makes a $100K, but if he scores worse then it will be a wasted trade. If he scores better then you will be very happy. I am unsure. If I trade him in I won't be playing him because Katoa was an emergency.

Most middle forwards won't really improve unless injuries happen during games and they get an extra chunk of minutes. Hard for Alvaro if he is getting 38 mins to improve if they are using 6 middle forwards + Brown is taking 1/4 of them.
Brown 60 mins
Mannah 40 mins
Alvaro 38 mins
Matagi 30 mins
Evans 29 mins
Scott 29 mins
=226 minutes/ 240 minutes then you have Taka going to second row and Moeroa spending time in the middle too.

Cheers Warriors re Alvaro. Will keep SST until I drunkenly decide to bring in Murray.

Hurrell has several missed tackles in him, I wouldn't write Hiku off just like that. Hiku missed 7 (I think it was) tackles last week, if he does worse I'd be surprised. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets a try assist or 2 for his winger..

Pre season, I would of had Niko around there maybe 42, Much like Milf used to do and he did to an extent last year is mix horror shows fantasy wise with big scoring try outings
Like most halves under the elite tier, neither have the baseline giant KM games Hunt/Pearce/Cleay have to make showing like last week look like a passable 30/35 the big guys have in poorer showings.
if you don't think Niko can still achieve what you thought pre season, upgrade him to a gun
I didn't like what I saw. In the games he played last year he had the majority of kick meters and reasonable base stats. Was looking for an increase of 5-8 from his priced average of 38. I just can't see him doing that with milf looking more like a dominant half than in previous years.
The difficult choice is whether to upgrade him to a gun half (can afford almost anyone) or downgrade to douehi or williams.

You make a good point.Welshy wrote:
To me that's like saying Player X would of only scored ....points had he not scored a try etc it was R1 and Niko put up some stinkers last year when he didn't go well, same as Moses who loves missing 6 tackles a game most weeks, it will fluctuate with players like Niko/Moses who are usually Boom or Bust.
If you are dumping Niko I would do if for an established gun or downgrade for cash, not for someone who will likely average around the same come seasons end, I'm guessing you got Niko expecting something around 42/45, that's where I would have Moses
I'll re assess and wait until later in the round before making a final decision.

I've moved SST for Doughnut.... using the cash to bring Murray in next week.
Like Liverpool, I have enough DPP players to cover the FRF and 2RF

Haha it would seem so. Just so much value around his price, well it seems that way anyway. Doesn't help that I can choose from anyone really

Same. Thank the flying spaghetti monster for Moneyball.
Oh, plus Aitken and Gal in my SC team. And Leilua, regrettably.
Edit: Oh wait, I have Townsend! Very forgettable player at 0.9% ownership. Hope he crushes it.
Second Edit: Also have Fifita in RDT. Running teams in 3 comps, + DFS, + tipping, can make for a confusing viewing experience.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 14
I brought SST in originally because he has a bit of upside and a reasonable Fantasy reputation. I didn't know how Lodge, Rochow or Arrow would go and needed some assurance in the FRF just in case these guys would flop.
After round one I have confidence that they will perform well fantasy wise. Hence the decision to move SST on, after a poor score last week, he might come good, but at the moment getting in the right cashcows is my first priority...getting Murray in my team is my second priority

Mate, you already have Kikau and Kennar right? I think Katoa to Thompson is a no brainer if you don't have to play Thompson.
If you want to move SST I would go straight to a cut price keeper that plays round 13 also, and that would be Murray.
You can then assess Havili, Nicholls and Doueihi and see whether you want to make a trade or not otherwise you could hold for next round.
Going straight to Murray from SST this weeks means you have the ability to save two trades next week.
