Ehhh Sezer was better in the trial, maybe Ricky see's it as a hickup and is willing to persist a little longer, also he's pretty bloody stubborn. Its more than likely going to suck and result in knights beating us at the death, but i reckon he does it again, at least this week.MilfordTheMagician wrote:Surely Ricky Stuart plays Havili longer than 30 minutes this week. They were worse with Sezer at hooker and the Titans ran over the top of them when he was at hooker.

In your place is honestly save my trades I think. Maybe Hiku in for Kennar this week and maybe 1 move - Katoa to Douehi and bench carty instead of Kikau
Cheers pal, surely I've got to get Thompson too? Even a 30 will earn him 50k this week and perhaps 35-40k the next?

Also, not sure how many people put themselves through the torture of our presser, but Stick basically put the loss down to "only having the ball for three sets in 20 min" after half time. Chances are he was probably also using that as the reason not to bring Sezer off because he wanted to see how it went once we had more even possession. Had that not been the case maybe Sezer would have come off earlier? Who knows

Thompsons BE is - 14 and the way prices compound it's feasible for him to go up 100k
If you don't have Kikau, not sure he's worth the trade. Riding him out but I already had him. Definitely wouldn't trade him in more until I saw more concrete info about his minutes

Named to start again, but he was named to start last week and ended up coming off the bench.Milchcow wrote:
What are people's expectations of Kikau.
Last year he averaged 14 as a bench player playing 22 minutes (coincidence? he scored a try in his first game of the year and then never again)
If he replicates that he'll make another $40k or so and then stop.
He really needs to replicate the big minutes he got last weekend (and ideally gran a couple of tries to be useful)
Those of us who panic traded him out last week are regretting it, but will bringing him back in give much benefit.
He got 36 minutes. So it's probably safe to assume he'll get at least that coming off the bench.
If he can keep up the tackle busts and the PPM, say 30ish off the bench and 40ish if he starts? Perhaps that is too optimistic.

To me Kikau, is someone much like CHN, put up a big first game score, loads missed the boat because job security was an issue, but he ended up playing his way and keeping his starting role
Kikau looks the goods and potentially Yeo who is solid as a rock starts to miss out with Kikau and CHN creating a deadly set of edge forwards with Merrin clogging the middle

I retract my earlier Kikau comment, set for a $110k rise if he gets 24+... Or maybe the stats are wrong which is feasible lol definitely worth a trade lol

Guys, are any of you having an issue where it says you only have a very low salary?? Did I miss something, does my salary increase after next round?

A 24 will roughly earn him 40k perhaps according to Milchs chart.
31 gets him 50k
63 gets him 90k

Usually pretty good at fixing bugs, just drop @Foina a line on here and they'll probably have it sorted in the next 5 or sorhinoceroo wrote:

Def understand the hesitation with Kikau if u didn't start with him. But at his price and how it looks at the moment.. hard to stay away.

The 100k bank is about what most value a trade at, so I reckon it's okay. I haven't checked BE's but after the trade you will technically make some more cash on the trade as well I'd say when Griffin goes up this weekend and Tauks potentially drops money?

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 14
The tricky part about the price changes now is that with a lot of players you can't really afford to hold off two weeks (at least thats how i feel). You get one week to take a look and after that you've gotta have a stab or leave them and hold off till someone else comes along. I dunno, maybe thats just my twisted mindset though, i haven't really run the numbers or anything to test it.
