Just a quick question. Who would you prefer score wise, SKD or Gray?

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 14
'Morning!
What a cracker of a first week! - though, I was of the understanding J. Tedesco was a good investment? What happened there? It's my first year, and I scored 790 points with the following team:
Ironclad Lads
HOK: C. Smith
FRF: A. Fifita, M. Lodge
2RF: J. de Belin, J. Arrow, R. Faitala-Mariner
CTR: B. Croft, B. Cartwright
HLF: L. Mitchell, P. Hiku
WFB: J. Tedesco, N. Cotric, K. Ponga
INT: S. Griffin
INT: R. Rochow
INT. V. Kikau
INT: L. Croker
EMG: S. Havili
EMG: J. Isaako
EMG: P. Godinet
EMG: S. McKendry
I'm not sure if I should be trading yet? [only have $4k CAB, lol] Lodge, maybe?
But I do think I'll swap L. Croker for S. Havili; and P. Hiku for J. Isaako...?
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Have fun!!!

I need to get Ponga in and the only way to do so is if I trade out French. The only way I can get Thompson in is if I trade someone around Carty. This leaves me with 42K ITB to assess Doueihi this week and upgrade Katoa to Doueihi next week?
BUMP
Should I just accept the fact that I have lost Thompson and get Doueihi in for Godinet this week?

You don't need to trade mate. Maybe Godient or McKendry to Doueihi? I'd play Isaako over Croker, but flip a coin. If you got Doueihi, I'd play him.

Nice team, fairly guns and rookies which I wish I could say for my bunch of mid-pricers. Managed to dodge Katoa as well, lucky fellow.
You don't NEED to make any trades, but the likes of Godinet and McKendry might not make a huge amount of cash, so consider Thompson and Doueihi who are the flavours of the week for boom cash-cows. With 4K ITB you probably can't get Thompson, so maybe just see how Doueihi goes and grab him next week.
If I was you I would leave Isaako and Havili where they are. Havili was lucky with a try, I think Croker will outscore him this week, and Isaako had a nice play for a TA and LBA which he may not repeat this week, Hiku is every chance to outscore him.
And don't worry, Tedesco is a good investment. Unfortunate start, but he'll have plenty of monster scores to make up for that.

Alvaro is one of those rare Props that scores just as well, if not better, off the bench.
I had him all pre season as my marquee Prop but dropped him after named to start!

Any thoughts on I. Papalii from the warriors? I haven't seen much discussion on him, do you think his value will keep rising? Hoping to use him to build some of my lost cash in the first round....

I was mulling over him as a replacement for SST, but have decided it's Murray, Douehi or nothing.

Don't think he's a good option. Already a little expensive, probably score ~35 the next couple of rounds, and then lose most of his minutes when Mannering returns from injury. Won't make enough cash to bring in now. And he plays for the Warriors. Better options such as Doueihi, Thompson, Kikau etc. if you don't have them.

Hmmmm, that puts me in quite the pickle. Was hoping to trade in a FRF. Already have Thompson and Kikau, I guess I'll keep Latu for now and look elsewhere

Katoa to Thompson for me like most other people. Mainly for the price rises. A little hesitant to play him tho. Sounds like storm got a rev up about their defense, so wouldnt suprise me if Thompson's score comes crashing back down to earth this week.
Am tempted to go Lichaa to Dufty to bolster my back 3. Lichaa looked a bit sluggish to me and not playing 80.

This is your first post mate? Hello to you too.
Anyway, I guess with all the options available, he's a decent option but lower on the list, and really, you can't fit everyone in. He probably will lose minutes when Mannering returns and he didn't really impress me that much. Better options out there for the price he is now anyway. You could roll the dice and he could keep a second row spot though, but who knows. Depends if the coach wants Manners at second row or if he's happy to move him back to lock.
