Wassup, first post here but not my first time viewing these threads. I managed to get 765 this week with a couple players underperforming (smith captain, croft and rochow mainly) and maintained my low 3k rank. So could've been better but wasn't a disaster.

What are you guys doing with croft? Because my patience is wearing thin

Someone (forget who) said in a previous thread that they'll stick with Lichaa until after round 3, as the Doggies going 0-2 may spark some changes.

I think that's sensible, particularly as Lichaa won't be losing much cash in the meantime.

Welcome! And Croft is gone for me - too high a b/e to avoid losing $, particularly when there are money earners out there. I'm bringing Murray in, and covering with Douhickey.

Welcome mate. Yeah the majority of us are looking at giving Croft the boot. Either a downgrade or a major upgrade, other options around his price are not worth it. He just doesn't seem up to it. If you go through the last thread there is plenty of Croft discussion and will be a lot more through the week.

I might even do a single trade and trade Croft to TPJ and run Croker for the week.

Also, on the fixtures page, it says some teams won, but on the Ladder page it says they lost lol wth Fail Hub

With Crofts lack of form his BE gets higher and higher and price gets lower and lower. Hopefully he loses some more money over the coming weeks and hits some good form (the kid can really play, hence his previous scores) and when he hits the form, should be able to upgrade Croker or Doui to Crofty. Well that's my plan anyways.

Any tips for this lineup? I have $86k in the bank

    C.Smith
    M.Lodge V.Kikau
    B.Cartwright, S.Burgess, J.Trbojevic
    J.Thurston, B.Croft
    L.Mitchell, R.Kennar
    J.Tedesco, T.Trbojevic, K.Feldt

    Interchange

    C.Thompson
    L. Croker
    A. Doueihi
    J. Isaako
    Emergency
    S.Havili
P.Hiku (Much regret moving him here so quickly after round 1....)
L.Latu (No regret moving him here after round 1)
M.Cornish (Not playing at the moment but no risk of him devaluing either so not in a huge rush to trade him away)

I'm currently toying with L.Mitchell > TPJ and B.Croft > K. Ponga, then moving Cartwright to half, Hiku to Centre, Feldt to bench and Isaako to Emergencies to fit them. Is this a bit much? I really think Feldt isn't worth the cash but if I don't pull the trigger on Ponga now I don't think I ever will..

Also, when are people going to start looking at players like S.Johnson? Guy looks phenomenal on the field and the points back that up. Obviously no growth potential for cash though....

    Thanks!

Currently priced at 40, so if he maintains 2nd row start and last years average, he is underpriced by almost $150k

He also had 9 starts at Interchange and 5 at centre.

    Do you risk Aubbs 2.0?
I was looking at Matterson, but didn't have the stats to know what his performances starting were like.

With numbers like that, he's tough to pass up, especially since he's available as a half. But on the other hand, I've already been fucked by Aubbs this season.

The problem is TLT doesn't help, because no guarantee they run out as named.
And even if they do, it might change next week.

I think you have to find the best cow you can find to bring in for him.
To early in the season to be playing loophole and it's to early in the season to be having a plater that is not making money.

I've already traded and will stick unless TLT throws a curve ball.
    Nicholls > Hiku
    RCG > Griffin

Think that helps make more money long term.

Can't really do the Katoa loophole this weekend because Thompson is playing Isaako, unless i put Isaako into the CTR and use Thompson and Kennar.

I feel i should start Isaako againt the tigers, more chance of grabbing a meat pie instead of Kennar against a red hot manly side. Than i can loophole Kennar or Thompson.

On the app when I look at the ladder the ‘Points Scored’ and ‘Points Against’ don’t include Round 1.

Cash is going to be so hard to come by for guns like SJ this year. I actually feel it may mean we have a lot of different teams come seasons end as opposed to the last few years, which in turn may mean more people in it at the end of the year.

Sorry if already thoroughly discussed. I got Moses, Croft, Lichaa and Rochow who are probably my worst performers in my 21. Who are the most urgent trade outs?

    My thoughts are;
Moses gets a kick up the arse and maybe plays well and doesn't get binned hopefully
Lichaa shouldn't drop too much in price this week so maybe hold and hope he plays bigger minutes
Surely storm come out guns blazing after a Bellamy roast and maybe Croft goes big
Rochow had abysmal defence last week but was good in week 1 so tough to evaluate.

    Any thoughts appreciated, Thanks Guys.

Keen to jump on -- Murray, TPG and cash isn't a big issue
