First time I've started without SJ and hate not having him (as he's my favourite player to watch irl). Can afford him theoretically this week but think sensible move for me is to go for DCE for $120k less and look at SJ after round 13.

His PPM is nuts. Minutes seem pretty low. But still busts out big scores.

Really low minutes at the weekend, but that might have been because it was hotter than the sun. He still offloads every other tackle and if I could magic two props into my team to run for the whole season they'd be Taupau and Fifita.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 17
only bad thing with taupau is that he actually runs back the 10 metres in the defensive line. This is unlike fifita who lays there in the tackle and pretends to be dead until one of his other team mates picks up the slack. i think ive seen him close his eyes before and squeeze a peak with one eye to make sure the coast is clear.

SST or Nicholls > Murray? The cash saved from SST would be nice

Found it weird that Robbo started Matterson over Aubbs when he had them both last year also, and Aubbs got the start R1, thought he may be changing the team makeup and Matterson was taking the more advanced role
I think both Aubs and Matterson started in Rd 1, Cordner from the bench. Guess that left everyone feeling secure, only to find that Aubs was the one warming the spot for Cordner Looks like Matterson has gone past Aubs which isn't crazy given he's 23 and Aubs is 30.

The amount of options you have going around in your head mate is unreal. Take a breath and wait for TLT, then re-evaluate.
But, Im in the same boat with Lichaa and Nicholls. Dunno which way to go, Nicholls upgrade makes the bench stronger but as you say a swap for SST saves money. SST got a 43 last week, so there's no rush to get rid of him. I traded him out after round 1 and kind of regret it now. If I still had him, I'd hold him.

Solid team. I'd play Thompson ove Isaako and even Rochow over Kikau.

I really want SJ. Still at least 3 weeks away I think. Need a few more of my Cows to grow, then Carty to SJ is on the cards.
Next up is a Gun FRF. Im not sure who is a solid FRF option at the moment. Im thinking Maybe Vaughan??
Yeah I think Carty to SJ is my first one. I want McCullough as well. I was originally going to turn Cook and Lichaa into him plus profit but if Cook keeps this up no reason to trade him out!

I need to get rid of Maubs and probably Croft. How about McCullough and Robinson? Would mean I'm playing Robinson and Carty and Douehi in the halves.

Have bolded those without now mate (love the site by the way!).
Makes Kapow, NAS and Lolo look good without tries yet. Perhaps TPJ can be the Vaughan of this year however and keep scoring?

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 17
Thanks @wolfking. This team involves trading out Croft and Lichaa but it provides me with a solid cash cow in TPJ and a potential one in Robinson plus leaving me with 456k spare as well. I guess that money will go towards a gun half from whichever cow has peaked in a few weeks I guess, potentially Rochow? I shouldn't hesitate should I? Just don't want Lichaa and Crodt coming back to bite me,if Marshall King isn't named this week I may change my mind lol

Lichaa and Croft are the two I'm trading out also. Lichaa likely for TPJ and use the money and upgrade Croft to Cleary.
I'm with you though, if for some reason Marshall King or NuBrown aren't in the 17, he stays for me, no question really. Croft is the main concern of the two.
