The killer for making your own fantasy comp is stats access.
That's what killed the original VNRL.

Might be OK if you do it small scale and that won't care, but if you try and create a genuine competitor to Fantasy/Supercoach then they probably won't look to kindly on you using their stats for free

We can collate the stats ourselves from the TV feed. We always know when one of our players has busted a tackle or saved a try. Wink

Would we have a chance of resurrecting the old Ultimate League site?

Absolutely no value in a full site. A good information/news site like MTBs is more valuable. Next step should be us moving our NRL.com specific community (ie posters on this thread) to MTBs site and introduce forum, subscriptiOn/site logins, eventually a leagues page where we can manage our cash leagues in similar.

There’s not enough liquidity for a full site. The official game has under 100k total players which is bitterly disappointing when you consider FPL has 6million and Yahoo and ESPN NFL many more than that

agreed, the NRL fantasy equivalent of supercoachtalk is the way to go

    I’m thinking Mose/Nicholls to Doueihi/TPJ.

I'd find someone else. RFM would go well if he got the ball in his hands. With Pay still experimenting with the squad that could happen and he is playing 80, so plenty of potential upside.

Am I the only one that doesn't get the TPJ obsession this week? To be fair didn't see 2nd game but so many negative stats both games sounds alarm bells. Not like loads of missed tackles from a CTR or half you expect when you get them but penalties errors as well

I'm still leaning towards Croft and Maubbs to McCullough and JMK. cow and gun  If it all goes pear-shaped for JMK, Lichaa would need to become Mbye if I can afford it, Dugan if not.

Yeah I'm giving the miss. I assume it's a cash grab, not a keeper i reckon. Should make decent cash but not for me. Besides not needing a FRF (have Fifita, Lodge, Arrow, Kikau, Nicholls) I wanted a keeper not someone I'll need to trade out again.

I can see the attraction. A bit like hess last year, limited mins but big attacking plays. Personally im going Murray over TPJ so will prob have to add him to the miss the boat list

Early season, he'll tidy up his game. People are mainly focused on his cash upside atm, and we're kind of starved of decent options right now.

I wouldn't get him if he wasn't already in my side but if he keeps up solid 40s with the odd 50+ game, he'll be good for some cash, which if he cleans up his penalties, will come easy

Lichaa to Murray seems like a goer.

    Anyone know much about JMK?

Dogs fans are blowing up about the their bench. A lot of Elliott hating going on. Apparently Tualau wasn't named for ISP so could come in for him. Not sure how relevant any of that is.

I didn't see the first game. Against the cowboys he was in everything. Easily the Broncos best IMO. Just looks like a dominant fantasy player.

RFM has so much money left in him so no is the short answer. Do you have anybody else you could move to murray?
