Tolmans killed it for the Doggies for a few years now and gets the tap.... pretty damn hard working unheralded player imo.

The news would give me some more opportunity to give Matterson another look to see if he has the 80 minute edge role

Eke some more cash out of Cartwright in my reserves

Jump off a now defunct cow in Croker and onto a possible new one in Hastings

whilst building some more cash to turn Doueihi/Carty into a gun half or Matterson next week

No Kennar or Croker here. Possible good misses ala Chewie.

Ah, yes, that would make sense.

Im having flashbacks to owning Taupau early last season when Koroisau was in the halves (although I think Taupau was in the 2nd row then), but didn't Korisau ball hog a bit and never pass to his big men running angles? Am I recalling this correctly?

You are correct, didn't Taupau go massive early round or 2 then got traded in and everyone started screaming at Koro for bypassing him or holding the line, letting Taupau run at it only to pull the ball back in and run  Laugh 3

Hastings has great stats in the halves and terrible stats at hooker. Sad

Yeah, ugly reading from last year's stats.

Mostly played garbage minutes off the bench, but a grand total of 213 minutes and 69 points.

Started 1 game at HK, played 65 mins for 12 points.

I'm just gonna roll the dice on JMK over Hastings. Hold onto Croker for now and see if another price rise or two is possible.

Think I will stick with my Mbye and Isaako trades. Gives me ample cover for CTR/WFB and don't have to worry about my halves.

Until you realise you have spent overs on Mbye when he reverts to a 40 odd scorer...... Wink

100%! Last year he had, form memory, a couple games around the 80 mark, and another few at low 60s but at the same time he had at least 5 in the 30s or below.

But that's my whole point here. You can't just look at one game in isolation with a guy who has quite high variation in his scores, you gotta look at all the relevant scores he's had over the last couple years.

I looked up earlier from 5th game he had 6 game golden period of 66.67pts avg from 53.8mins avg. If can hit less than that and sustain he's good value still

At current price he is around the exact same $$ per point (15,000 magic number) as the avg he has finished with last season. (52)

    previous 3 season average combined (50.3) 52, 49, 50

      Current date/time is Tue Nov 26, 2024 3:59 pm
