In that if you don't like Tedesco's score you can swap TPJ and Griffin and get Griffin's score instead.

Are you that worried about Teddy's output that you think you might not want to play him in your 17? I would have thought playing Tedesco and using Kikau in 18 would be a better play.

Yeah, I thought that was a little odd too. Surely Teddy warrants a starting WFB spot... especially against the Warriors!

More importantly though, now that Milch has confirmed what I posted earlier, @mattnz I reckon you need to figure all this loophole stuff before giving advice. I realise you are trying to help, and I hope Im not going to come across like a cock here, but you've posted some odd (and incorrect) things in relation to loopholing in last 48 hours, so it might be better to hold off on giving advice to others on this matter until you've got a handle on it yourself. Its already a wee bit confusing, so when incorrect info gets posted as fact and advice, it has the potential to confuse the situation even more.

    I'm going ahead with my trades;

    lichaa - MBye
    Nicholls - Rochow

and just playing Carty this week, fuck it. Might come on and have some more creative play.

    Leaves me with;

    Smith
    Lodge Arrow
    Murray Whitehead RFM
    MBye Carty
    Mitchell Isaako
    Teddy Thompson Ponga

    Cook Griffin Rochow TPJ

    Kikau Havilli Croker Kennar

Loophole Kikau/Havilli. Will get a look at Hastings and JMK again this week and if one of them looks secure, it's an easy trade. Have 72K in the bank. With the Croker news, spending on Nicholls to get Rochow seems pretty luxurious, but I think long term is a good option. Don't like playing Carty but I haven't given up on him yet.

This game is fucked with the new loop hole exploit. Most people don't have time to piss around changing emergency players between games over the weekend, I feel like I'm at a massive disadvantage.

Grab Isaako for Nichols with my second trade this week or hold off and play the long game?

First trade is Merrin > Mbye, Cartys benching nescesitates a new HLF, has plenty of 2RF matching Merrin.

    Thoughts champs?

Also if anyone wants to see changes to the 100+ banner let me know. Fresh starts and all

Quick question: I've been trying to get my head around it, and still can't see how it can work, but haven't ruled it out yet. Is it possible to loophole twice in the same week?

Edit: I think I cracked the puzzle - and it seems it's doable - but it has to be under very particular circumstances. Now to see if 3 is possible in one week - surely not Smile

I would prefer a hard lockout. Thought that's why they brought in ranked subs

I've used it once. Games were days apart so I don't buy the time aspect as it's a 1 minute job. It's not guaranteed to be positive. Replacement could easily score less

    Exactly.

I could deal with the captain loop hole last year because it was few and far between but now it seems like a large percentage of people are looping weekly, some looping multiple players.

Can see me losing interest in the comp this year, first time I've said that in the 8 years I've been playing nrl fantasy.

Agreed. This will be the 2nd weekend out three I’m away for three days and no reception whatsoever. Not everyone has the entire weekend to check and double check 8 games and do swaps each time. Fuck all these loopholes off.

Technically you could have positioned player in 13 and 2 around a pivot 19-21 as well as npr at 17 and likes of Kikau 18 I think

Didn't even get to tinker and fuss about with my team this week, 2nd last day at work and drupal decide to release a critical security patch tonight which didn't end up coming out till half 8....No Xmas cards for them this year, was going to give them Foinas.

Anyone want to draw some cheapie names out of a hat for me? What about that new panfers lad, lets call him luau or Hingano perhaps (HAH! Like i need more gumbies in green in my team)... i dunno at my wits end

Not quite loophooling twice, but this would be ultimate loophole

    17. Hayne
    18. Kikau
    19. Tedesco
    20. Ramien
    21. Thompson

In your starting 13 you need a CTR and a WFB that play late in the round.
Have 18 be any position except WFB/CTR
    19 cover one of WFB/CTR
20 cover the WFB/CTR that you haven't covered above
21 be anyone playing late in the round

So you get to watch Kikau's, Tedesco's, and Ramien's scores before you do anything.

If Kikau gets the highest, do nothing.
If Tedesco gets the highest sub Hayne into WFB
If Ramien gets the highest sub Hayne into CTR
If they all suck, swap Hayne and Thompson.

This relies on having multiple players play in a certain order, so there is close to 0% chance you could setup to do something this advanced on a weekly basis. But every so often an opportunity like this might appear.
Or if you wanted, you could setup a team this way to have a shot at the weekly.

The main advantage of ranked subs was that they could kill rolling lockout.

I can't believe they left it in.

That said, if the system is there to be used, I am going to use it.

Haha, I like it, this is fun. I hadn't thought of that one. Just checking the logic though. If you swap Hayne in to the WFB spot, that means putting the existing WFB into spot 17, which would then be your highest ranking WFB reserve, which in turn would then become your AE for the Hayne...right? If thats the case the only way you get Tedesco in there is if you also swap your 21 guy (who's not a WFB), with the WFB you pulled from your starting team. That would ensure you get Tedesco, but would also mean your 21 guy scores in your 17.

    Am I following correctly?

Nrl.com seem to be so late to everything. Nothing about kennar nothing about Croker. Surely they would be the first into it
