Lol Mannering is the most expensive player in Fantasy because he hasn't played yet.

There so few decent halves this year. I'm trying to panic trade one in before I go away, but I really don't like any of them. I might just have to do nothing and hope like hell that Douie gets one more week.

Seems like Doughnut will be coming of the bench next week. Makes more money but who knows how many points.Halves are a problem for me also.zorasdomain wrote:There so few decent halves this year. Re: NRL Fantasy 2018 Thread Part 24
No wonder most people found this round carnage.
Only 8443 points scored this week. I think that is the lowest scoring 8 game round since at least 2014.
Several 7 game rounds have seen more points scored.
Well done to anyone that avoided the worst of it.
Anyway BEs attached

Yeah I'd want to avoid playing him if he's benched. Don't want a Carty style situation of him only getting a couple of minutes. I only have trash to replace him with though (Croker/JMK).
I'm not touching Maloney but he's a great price. Kind of looking at Niko but Broncos are a bit shit. He was fun to own last year when he kept scoring tries.
Anyone else decent to trade in would require a double trade and trading out someone who isn't really ready to go. Don't know what to do and don't like having to try and guess before TLT.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2018 Thread Part 24
I had KNik but swapped him out after round one. Kinda kicking myself with that decision but I think his scores have been boosted by random plays - burning past Thurston, breaking the line and scoring a try against the Tits. Now you can argue they are flukes but the thing is he has done it.
I’m bringing in Api I think this week. I need a centre too but might hold off on who to bring in. Could splurge on Latrell...

Watching Isaako this week, not sure how he ever scored points in previous weeks. Just doesn't get the ball.
One off or will it continue? Think I'll demote him to emergencies and play Hiku instead.

He did it last year, that's why you started with him. Don't get upset when players demonstrate why you thought they were good.
Its why people advise against rage trading after 1 poor score

Re: NRL Fantasy 2018 Thread Part 24
@Milchcow yeah you’re right for sure. I feel we had more go forward last year which is why I jumped off quickly after that round one performance. I mean I could always bring him back in this week but knowing that he will string together those round one scores for the next month haha.
