If you bought him in he would be bloody hard to watch that’s for sure.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2018 Thread Part 24
I think I would have to quit playing fantasy if I ever traded Cameron Smith to James Maloney.
Anyway, updates were kind for Rochow and Thompson and I finished on 824 and up to 161st.
Heading into round 5, my bench/emergencies is a bit of a concern:
Cook
Griffin
Doueihi
Lodge
Havili
JMK
Croker
Isaako
Not much to work with outside of my 17, so a trade of Smith > Arrow could really help me improve my bench/emergencies with the extra cash.

thoughts on Stimson? could benefit from the Storm injuries and he's apparently the goal kicker until Smith says otherwise.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2018 Thread Part 24
Need to find some trades where I Play Kikau and solidify my WFB and half position
So far only way I can find a way to do it is by dumping Smith for Koro, move Cook into starting hooker spot, Koro to halves then Going Carty - Edwards/RTS
By doing that I can move Edwards into WFB JMK to emergency and Kikau becomes one of my int players

There’s definitely a fear factor attached to Smith. Reality is for his price if he was any other player none of us would have had to endure that shitshow and got what we deserved for not calling it as you see it, earlier.
Smith is going terrible.
Smith without Cronk looks a problem child and lost.
He must be carrying some sort of niggle.
At best, keep and never captain again until 60+ comes back.
Suggested: bin. There’s others destroying his scores for half the price and he’s an origin player with bad byes
MAYBE get him back after origin if trades and bank allows and we see old him

Think I’m going to dump him, obviously struggling with an injury and what I’m most surprised about is the lack of interest in trying to take the game on more without Cronk which is obviously a huge factor at the moment! More than happy to shift the ball to Croft or Munster who are also both struggling!GreenMachine wrote:

I was eyeing Munster as a cut price keeper but that would be stupid on current form and his big fantasy game came at fullback!
way I see it I have Fifita, Cook, Murray, Tedesco, Ponga as legitimate captaincy options and I’d be getting 2 guns in for an underperforming Smith in Edwards/RTS and Koroisau who is a gun in the half position at his current scoring and role with that now further depleted Sea Eagles pack

Mate, 2 guns for one really makes it a no brainer.
He’s going to leak money next few weeks until things click there. He’s just a penalty waiting to happen this year and as you say has been bitterly disappointing not stepping up sans Cronk

Re: NRL Fantasy 2018 Thread Part 24
I was going to sort out my halves once and for all and do Cam/Cartwright for 2 guns but unless you have money for DCE/SJ I don’t think really exist this year. Years gone by when I’ve owned 3-4 gun halves so very strange for it to be like the centre position.
Koroisau is doing a good job but not in my thinking while ever I’m targeting DCE with Croker my backup NPR half
Hunt i guess is still a little under the radar. Gun in years gone by in a good looking side.

Think we are all expecting Smith to return to fantasy norm when in reality he may never get back to the same 60 + level. I think trading him for a stud that plays 13 will be the way to go!GreenMachine wrote:

I might go Koro hope he maintains his 50+ average and move onto SJ after his bye

Watching Isaako this week, not sure how he ever scored points in previous weeks. Just doesn't get the ball.
One off or will it continue? Think I'll demote him to emergencies and play Hiku instead.
Watched all of his games.
Most of his points came off kicking goals and maybe one or two runs from returning a kick with a TB.
James roberts doesn't know how to pass so he never sees the ball in play

Smith to dce
Doohickey to Rochow
Not all that keen on a double trade but, damn there aren’t any strong arguements to keep smith. And the “he used to be gun” arguements doesn’t cut it for me at the moment. Coz he looks shit now.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2018 Thread Part 24
Ignoring this week's score, Smith has been averaging 52 this year and his currently priced at 54.
If you want him back in your final team, you'll probably be trading him back in in about 4-6 weeks to maximise profits. If you don't want him in your final team, ditch him now.

I had a look at him last week. Stats are good and got some price rises still to come. Felise is week to week and is expected to be named this week. Stimson is much better than Hoffman and probably holds the starting spot but it could have you burning 2 trades in 2 weeks

He has slipped in the past but his performance on field has always been solid.
The last 2 games I've seen from him have been very average. His on field play isn't what it used to be. It seems they are a bit lost without Cronk, croft is not a first grade player.
He isn't kicking goals anymore, which is at least 6 points off his average, he isn't kicking from half at all or even running the ball. He is either getting old or carrying an injury.
But he looks like a 30 point hooker right now.
Same story for JT, looks like age/injury is getting too him. He is gone for DCE this week.

Had a good round barring Cartwright Ranked 46th overall!
Now, Cartwright, this is a tough one. I have around $600k to upgrade him, and no one is sticking out to me.. I have Doughei also, so really need ARey to be out for another week or so or I'm going to have to play Croker haha!
