On Turbo, Barrett came out & said he was a good chance of playing & then wacko tweeted he wouldn't overcome his ankle injury & will be ruled out. Where they are playing apparently there has been really bad weather/storms/heavy rain fall. Maybe Manly don't want to risk it due to the condition of the ground surface.

It's tough hey. Broncos desperately need him, but yeah, you don't want to make an injury worse, especially hamstrings.

Chris Garry also tweeted saying Pangai and Oates are both training and look set to play

Another aspect is not making cash from a cashcow.
On average I make about 25k a week each from the cashcows on my EMG bench... if someone chooses to loop 1 or more non playing no cash making players they have the potential to forfeit this 25k in comparison (all depending on team make up). I can understand someone doing this for a couple of weeks, but longterm it can really hurt the overall value of their team compared to non-loopholers

Thought about this too. Keeping Katoa has gained me 26pts but I missed out on likes of Douiehi price rises

Nicholls or Godinet in the 17?.... Not a great choice....

I was very close to putting JMK at 17 - nice 34 points that I dont think my other options will get near!

All you fruit loops take it over here

we have a thread just for looping, saves the main thread getting bogged down when there's more important questions. Like:

The way the emergencies work now is absolutely perfect. The problem is that they’ve retained the rolling lockout, when it should be a full lockout at the start of the round.

This is true, the cyclone is moving away from Gladstone so maybe the grounds can dry up by then. I just hope they let us know soon Smile

I don't mind the loophole questions because it keeps me up to date on how it works. I appreciate there is a separate thread but I'd imagine not many of us are on there so if it's an urgent request they won't get an answer but they will if they post it here. It's the same problem when the rate my team thread was started.

as some-one who is unfortunate enough to live in Gladstone, i've seen this weather report in the thread a few times and it's a bit overstated, the skys have looked terrible the entire week, but rainfall has been pretty minimal, few showers here and there, but nothing of the 'cats and dogs' variety

General mentioning of the loophole and suggestions all good in here as well I reckon. If anyone is asking how it works and looking for examples can be in the other thread.

We should create a thread to discuss whether or not loophole posts should be in the main thread or in the loophole thread. There's quite a few of them Smile

Yeah I saw the weather, and me being a Townsvillian all I hear is about how this cyclone is coming back up here. Soooooo fingers crossed from Turbo Tom
