I wanted to put Dugan in but I tossed up between him and Aitken and put it to here and a few of the fellas said Aitken so dodged a bullet so far!

    I hope so!!!!!
I wanted Aitken but I didn’t have enough in my budget so decided with Dugan.. Hopefully next week.

Coming home to a 70+ from captain cook is a beautiful thing!

Good old EMG Nicholls delivered the goods too. Only disappointment of the night is my brother had Fifita as captain so Cook becomes a little less boast worthy.

Still dropped a little in ranks but, how many people have most had play already?

Sorry if most of this is covered ground, was too lazy too catch up 30 odd pages from 2 threads Very Happy

I may come across a bit sour and bitter, or perhaps just wrong, but it's funny the amount of people coming out and gloating about captaining Cook when from what I saw there was next to no talk on him as a captain choice in the captain discusions leading up.  I may be way off, so I apologise if I do but there was a lot of Murray talk, Ponga, JTurbo, DCE but no real talk on Cook.  I don't mind, I own Cook anyway and captained Murray so whatever but it just amuses be a bit.  I guess it's just like the talk last week about people only posting their scores when they are doing well. Again, apologies if I'm out of line. Carry on.

I'm not pointing fingers mate, I'm probably just bitter as I said, just seems the way after the fact yet beforehand the talk was next to none.

Why would that be an issue lol?

From a personal standpoint I actually thought I had captained Murray, didn't say who i had or hadn't pre round, happy to see it on Cook

To be honest I always feel from a personal standpoint everytime I mention a player I have going they turn to shit so I don't plus its always on CS9 normally

but dont see the issue especially when Cook was averaging 57 before the game anyway, surprised more didn't captain him, so celebrating a 74 as a captain choice I see nothing in the lsightest wrong with it whther they stated beforehand or otherwise

All good dude, I think a lot of people on here say something but then go away and think about it and then change their mind. I know I do hahaha
I do remember a few people saying they were going to captain him.
I wish I had captained Cook lol, hope Jurbo does just as good!

Yeah Welshy's realisation was funny. For myself to chose Cook (which I did mention in the forum I was going with) I wrote a list of potentials after moving Storm Machine to the bench where he will remain. Then this forum helped me write negative notes beside each one and I ended up at Cook as no negatives came up....
    Ponga - 'don't captain a FB/back'
Murray - 'was on 38 before his try'
Arrow - a worry around his minutes being the same as last week
Cook - ..... nothing, so locked him in.

He seemed the safest out of the ones I pencilled, so locked him in. So thanks to the forum for my Captain Cook returns

Yeah, I'm not trying to start anything, I just feel very comfortable here that I can share something I'm thinking. Of course, wish I captained him too, I guess for some reason, he just never entered into my thinking at all for captain. For me it was Murray, Arrow and Ponga. Went Murray and Cook sitting there not even giving a second look. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but he has certainly become the CS9 for captain choices by the looks. It's almost a disadvantage him going so well cause no everyone that didn't captain him will jump on.
