Cook was on my radar but I thought Murray would play more minutes with no Surgess. Going forward Murray probably isn't a captaincy option

i agree, got caught up in surgess being out thinking he would step up. but its was dicholls of all people who stiffened up!multiple.scoregasms wrote:Cook was on my radar but I thought Murray would play more minutes with no Surgess. Going forward Murray probably isn't a captaincy option
cant be too upset though. with the updates we only miss out on 24 points 207 vs 183. so it was safe in the end. but murray was lucky to get an 8 point run at the end with 2 tbs and an offload which i dont think he will get every week.

If I'd captained Murray for the 4 weeks he's started, or 3 weeks I've owned him, I'd be better off..
53, 60, 61 and 52 is better than a lot of alternatives.
In saying that, I'll probably chase and Captain Cook (or back to Smith when he scores 75).

Murray is much more than just a tackle bot. I'm surprised it took him that long into the game to have a big run. He has excellent late footwork at the line that normally gets him one on one with a defender leading to a quick play the ball or an offload/tb

Can only see Taupau, Brown?
Fifita was who you wanted. But he has played (and will be over $800k next week)

I've Cook as captain, Vaughan, JDB, Crichton and Murray. I'll be not happy if they don't fix the score. 20+ points I'm using 16 players for 2 weeks cuz of Kennar

I have a feeling they won't update the stats. Wasn't there a Warriors game last year that something like this happened to and we were waiting all weekend for the scores to update then lockout came around and nothing? Pretty sure I remember cause they owed me 2 or 3 points for that piece of shit Bodene Thompson.

Looking like a good week for scoring. For last few weeks I’ve toyed with idea of milking Nichols and Havili. Less so Havili. Nice of them to repay the “faith”.
301/6 captain dce to play. Is probably a bit inflated, still have players like hiku, isaako, maloney to come.

Yeah m8 it's high scoring round 427/7 but it should be 442 but failhub hasn't updated the scores

Yeah Welshy's realisation was funny. For myself to chose Cook (which I did mention in the forum I was going with) I wrote a list of potentials after moving Storm Machine to the bench where he will remain. Then this forum helped me write negative notes beside each one and I ended up at Cook as no negatives came up....
Ponga - 'don't captain a FB/back'
Murray - 'was on 38 before his try'
Arrow - a worry around his minutes being the same as last week
Cook - ..... nothing, so locked him in.
He seemed the safest out of the ones I pencilled, so locked him in. So thanks to the forum for my Captain Cook returns
Great post.

The trouble was souths had no ball for pretty much the whole first half so he spent the whole time tackling and didnt get a chance to do much running with the footy

With TPJ back I need to pick two from him, Lodge and Kikau.
Surely Kikau can't keep up his average and safer to chuck him in EMG...
Though Lodge has the lowest ceiling so maybe I'll bench him and hope for a couple meat pies for TPJ and Kikau..

The "most fantasy points" on the NRL website is updated (to JDB 51, Cook 77). The fantasy app will.update soon enough because everything has to keep in sync.
It's Saturday morning. Let Fiona have a lie in.

Same with me, first week i haven't captain him. Happens every time you switch captains!

On the desktop you can see your points scored and weekly rank for each round.
There is an option just above your team to select each round
