I disagree about Griffin. Was taking 80 mins to get 40 points, I don't think he is the king of player who can do just as well with 60mins by putting in more effort (ie. Brown) and he also defends a man out a lot. I think he will continue to get 35-40 points and with a BE of 34 he has now peaked. An injury mid game might bump him up to 60 but that is a poor strategy to bank on. Griffin is the man to trade this week if you have him.

Lodge, TPJ still have money to make and are holds.
RFM a definite hold, still should find 100k yet.

I was thinking of banking a trade and just doing Faulalo to JFH but next week NAS and Griffin out for cash. But should I do NAS this week as my second trade as he'll lose cash and Goise will surely make money. I'm probably not going to play NAS anyway.

Should I just do it and bank a trade next week?

Lodge to Katoa and Griffin to SJ seem like decent trades? Or Griffin to Koro or Pearce to bank some cash?

Here are my lads for this week. Nathan Brown injury tests the depth but I'll take advantage of the red dot for a free look.

    Croker, Hiku
    Ponga, Edwards, Dufty

Injury is the only real problem with ARey mate, I'm happy to stick with him 32 points with 10 minutes less game time, let's say around 35-38 point with Souths throwing the ball around late when they were down if he stays on.

Souths scored 12 points and he was only responsible for 2 of those, I think that's his floor 35 points which is great for a half

We got him for a reason let's stick with the fella

I suppose if he goes down again and we trade Doueihi now we will get him back in cheaper later   Laugh 3

Lodge hasn't been setting the world on fire and Griffin is good for 60 mins at least. Griffin also plays round 13 so I'd be trading Lodge. People think he's only going to get better but I haven't seen that in the first 5 weeks so far. It's not entirely his fault since we are rubbish.

I'm going Lodge to JFH. I know he hasn't quite peaked yet, but not into these 35ish scores. JFH will make more than Lodge will make, and I'll be getting an extra 10-15 points. Griffin scored well from 60 min so he's staying on for at least a week.

Lodge minutes have been down the past 2 weeks

He has been decent with a few TB's and offloads but the odd penalty and stupid MTs are stalling his fantasy potential

When are we expecting Wighton to face any repercussions from his misendeavours?

I see the reasoning for trading Griffin don't get me wrong. I see both as 40 PPG players and that's their max unless they get attacking stats (rare)

I've got to get rid of S.Williams and sure up my halves.
    Team before trades is:

    Smith
    Arrow Rochow
    Murray JFH TPJ
    Williams Maloney
    Cotric Mitchell
    Tedesco Ponga Thompson

    Cook RFM Griffin Kikau

    Lodge Havili Isaako Doueihi

Thinking I need to jump on Johnson now as I ideally want him and Cleary in my final 17. To do that I need to cash out one of Lodge, Griffin or RFM. I'm a bit worried that Gosiewski could be a dud so am thinking of going Lodge or Griffin > Katoa for the cash to fund Williams > SJ.

    Good move or not?
Or anything smarter you can see with my team?

    Cheers!

Lots of talk about Gosiewski but how come not as much love for Jensen? Same price and a proven per minute contributor, should be able to bang out 35s with greater upside until McLean returns no?

Looked at his decent minutes over origin last season. Scores on left

Checked Adam Reynolds gametime from last year. He played 21 of a possible 24 games, and never missed two rounds in a row. I think holding Deouihi in the hope Reynolds gets a prolonged rest is a mistake. Reynolds might be limping out there or not closing out games, but he'll probably be taking the field each week, which limits Deouihi's minutes.

If Lodge gets his big minutes back I like him for 45s but if he keeps hovering around 45 minutes his potential is limited by his boneheadedness ala trying to take Easy Es head off and missing 2 tackles in 2 seconds
